I woke up to my phone blowing up. Half the calls were from my father. I didn’t need to guess to know that Eric had made his move. But… what did it have to do with me? I had already liquidated and transferred all my assets. Even if my father went bankrupt, it had nothing to do with me.

I sat up straight. I stared at the invitation for a long time, then laughed out loud.

Normally, with Eric’s personality, he would never have let me leave with the young man last night. He would have dragged me back

rated, tilted his head back and drained the cup.
