I tried to pull my hands back, but Samuel was too strong, and I could not break free.
Cole, who had been observing us, immediately ran over and broke us apart.
“Samuel Gardner, I’m warning you. Stay away from my sister!

“Our food might be too low–class for your liking, Mr. Gardner. So, we won’t be asking you to join us for dinner,” I said softly.
Cole understood what I meant and kicked Samuel out.
Cole was taller than Samuel by half a foot and had become much stronger during his one–month recovery. Samuel wanted to resist, but he could not win against Cole.
“He’s so shameless! Why is he so difficult?!” Cole mumbled after shutting the door.
I laughed at his reaction and pulled him to his chair at the table so that we could start dinner.

Cole hurried over when he heard the commotion and snatched Mia’s knife.
Once she realized that she was at a disadvantage, Mia fled.
I called the police, and the ambulance.
I did not notice that the media people, who had come to visit for a follow–up, had taken pictures of the incident.
