Britney thought he was weird, “How would I know where she
was? She’s not a three–year–old kid, I wasn’t supposed to keep an
eye on her!”
Edward, who was next to me, said in a bad tone, “Iris said you
just found out where she went. Who else would I ask if not
you?”
Britney’s thin eyebrows frowned.
Although she was unhappy with their tone, this was about
someone’s safety, so she didn’t have time to argue. She said
honestly, “Just now Ms. Webster was with Mr. Colton from Nexus Capital. Maybe Mr. Colton knows where Ms. Webster is.”

but you still let him be alone with Bianca?” Rodrick asked
sternly.
