“In other words, you were going to take this project to Synterra
Group?”
“Yeah.”
Estela leaned back, “Britney, let me be honest with you,
Synterra Group had some cash flow problems. If you were
talking to me about this project on behalf of Synterra Group, it
probably wouldn’t work out.”
Britney paused for a moment.
“Synterra Group’s surface data was done perfectly, so not many people knew about it. I also found out through special channels. You know, I’m just a businesswoman.” Estela was also pretty apologetic.
Business is business, Britney could understand Estela’s position.
But if even Synterra Group’s resources didn’t meet Estela’s standards, then there weren’t many companies like Riverton that could.
Seeing Britney fall silent, Estela took the chance and said,
“Britney, as someone who’s been through this, I can give you

“If you liked someone, you just had to do whatever it took to sleep with them. If you couldn’t get into their heart, at least you got on their body. If they had money, you went for the money. Britney got what Estela meant.
She was after Royarch Capital’s resources.
Yeah, she had nothing. Why would anyone vote for her?
Estela patted Britney on the shoulder, “Think about what I said. People should be more realistic. Women with too much of a conscience can’t make money or find love. I’m the proof.”

While Britney was in the bathroom, Estela called the male escort into the private room again.
Britney was startled by the whole room full of male escorts when she came back.

Estela happily called her, “Britney, come, come, see if there’s
anything you like.”
“Ms. Baird, let’s just forget it.” Britney didn’t mean to kill her
vibe, she just really wasn’t interested.
“Don’t, there were two pretty good ones in here, looked like Mr. Livingston.”

Estela didn’t drag her to pick things out, and the two male escorts also came over and took her arm very tactfully.
“Sis picked me.”
Britney didn’t have time to say no, and a familiar voice came from outside the door.
“9208, Rodrick, this was the place.”
Edward pushed open the half–closed door while he was talking.
The scene inside the door made him stop.

Like he was afraid Rodrick couldn’t see, Edward even stepped
aside so Rodrick could get a good look inside the room.
At the same time, he didn’t forget to mock Britney, “You really can’t judge a book by its cover. You always acted all high and mighty in front of Rod, but in private, you played around more than anyone! I really underestimated you!”
“Rod, sorry, I just told Edward the wrong room number. I was worried you guys would go to the wrong place, so I hurried over.” Bianca’s voice came from outside again.
It really was lively.
Looks like Rodrick was looking for Bianca, but by accident he found the room where Britney was.
Edward asked, “Wasn’t it 9208?”
Bianca said, “No, it’s 8926.”
9208 and 8926 were pretty far apart, they weren’t even on the same floor.
Bianca even got this wrong.
It couldn’t help but make people doubt the authenticity of her so–called Huffman Business School PhD in economics.
