Chapter 7
Trevor questioned, “Meeting? How can you casually meet with a man from the internet? What if he is a scammer? Aren’t you afraid of encountering danger at all?”
Listening to his nervousness and concern, Miranda smiled brightly.
“Didn’t you have it?”
“I had already planned what you said. You and Jocelynn are also going to the Amusement Park, so the four of us can go together.”
She said, then turned her head with a smile to Jocelynn sitting in the back seat.
“Jocelynn, I usually speak casually with my senior brother. Please don’t take to heart the things I said earlier by the poolside.”
Jocelynn slowly opened her eyes and was met with Miranda’s meaningful smile.
She was about to speak, but Trevor beat her to it, “What did you say to Jocelynn?”
Miranda playfully stuck out her tongue and said, “This is a secret among us girls.”
The air in the car fell silent for a second, and Trevor didn’t ask any further questions. Instead, he drove quietly.
Entrance to the Amusement Park.
After the three of them lined up to enter the park and had their tickets checked, Miranda and the others went their separate ways to meet their male online friends individually.
Trevor accompanied Jocelynn to the fast Ferris wheel queue, but he absentmindedly kept turning back from time to time, looking
towards the direction where Miranda had left.
After waiting for fifteen minutes, he couldn’t help but speak up, “Jocelynn, you stay in line here, I’ll go check out the guy she’s meeting
from the internet.”
After saying that, he added, “She’s a girl, and I’m afraid she might not be safe.”
Jocelynn had already anticipated it, clutching her phone, trying her best to appear calm.
“Well, you go then.”
Just on the way here, she had already guessed it.
Unfortunately, her farewell ceremony couldn’t have a proper beginning and end…
After Trevor left, Jocelynn stood in line alone until she reached the front, but he still hadn’t returned.
The staff saw the couple’s ticket in Jocelynn’s hand and couldn’t help but ask, “This is a ticket for the couple’s seating area, where is
your boyfriend?”
Jocelynn chuckled to herself inwardly, her boyfriend was currently accompanying another girl.
No, Trevor was no longer her boyfriend.
The moment she saw the chat records, when he repeatedly abandoned her, making her an accessory.
He had already declared his departure in their love.
Jocelynn gave a faint smile to the staff, without a trace of emotion on her face.
“I came alone.”
Jocelynn sat on the Ferris wheel, surrounded by sweet couples.
There was only one empty seat beside her.

The car started and slowly moved forward.
The girl in front nervously grabbed her boyfriend’s hand and said, “What should we do? I’m scared.”
The boy gently comforted the girl, “Don’t be afraid, hold onto the handrail, I will also be by your side to protect you.”
In the past, Trevor was also gentle and patient like this.
He always said to Jocelynn, “Don’t be afraid, even if the sky falls, I’ll hold it up, I’m here for everything.”
But now, his tenderness and protectiveness have all been given to someone else.
The car sped rapidly, and the constant ups and downs made one feel as if they were floating with the wind.
The screams around were constant, and Jocelynn closed her eyes nervously.
When it ended, her legs went weak and her mind went blank.
My heart almost leaped out of my chest.
The girls around her were all being supported by their boyfriends as they left, while she could only lean against the corner of the wall to jrest.
When she finally managed to calm down, Trevor arrived late.
“Jocelynn, I’m back. Let’s line up and play together!”
Jocelynn’s face turned pale as she gently shook her head and said, “No need, I just came down from upstairs.”
Trevor paused for a moment and said, “Didn’t I ask you to wait for me?”
Jocelynn lowered her gaze to hide her sadness in the face of his slightly angry tone and said, “In the game of rules, there is no waiting for anyone.”
Their love, too, had already become a thing of the past.
Trevor sighed and said, “Forget it, let’s go somewhere else.”
During the parade, the crowd was packed tightly.
The two of them followed Rabbit Street and arrived at Toy Castle, where they were squeezed to the front.
“Senior brother, what a coincidence, you are also here!”
Miranda’s voice suddenly rang out, and her petite figure swiftly moved to Trevor’s side.
Trevor saw her alone and couldn’t help but ask, “Why are you still alone? What about that male online friend?”
Miranda sighed, “He stood me up, he never showed up. Men outside are unreliable, unlike you, my senior brother, who is so dependable.”
Trevor, however, breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Don’t meet men online randomly anymore. Come and hang out with us today, it will also save me from worrying about your safety.”
“Okay!” Miranda didn’t hesitate, as if she was acting spoiled, “I knew my senior brother would treat me the best.”
Jocelynn stood on the side, not saying a word.
At that moment, the music suddenly grew louder, and the red and black checkered door behind the three of them slowly opened.
