Chapter 4
When I went downstairs, I happened to run into Arabella in Eddie’s arms.
Hearing the sound, Arabella blushed and gently broke free from the embrace of her ex–boyfriend.
“Eddie… Kylie was watching.”
Without even turning his head, Eddie bent down and kissed Arabella’s lips.
“What did she look like?”
“Thanks to you for bringing me back tonight, unlike a certain backstabber.”
Eddie was angry, he rarely spoke to me in such a sarcastic manner.
Arabella’s lips curled up slightly, “Don’t blame Kylie either. She came back in such a hurry today, maybe she had other urgent
matters.”
I remained silent, brushed past and entered the kitchen, and poured a glass of water.
The sound of Eddie still echoed outside.

“You played a good move by letting that young girl seduce Eddie.”
When I heard her say that about my dad, I instantly became teary–eyed.
“Arabella, I thought you were a pure and immaculate goddess, but I never expected your thoughts to be so filthy.”
A cruel smile flashed across Arabella’s face as she raised her hand and slapped me.
“You, this little vixen, really thought you could seduce Eddie?”
“The reason why he was willing to take you in back then was simply because you resembled me to some extent, and he treated you as a
substitute.”
“Now that I have returned, don’t you feel like a clown?”
I dodged her slap, but I didn’t know where she pulled out a fruit knife from.
“I didn’t want to argue with you. Moreover, I was about to leave here soon.”
Arabella didn’t believe it at all. She approached me step by step with a fruit knife in her hand.
“When he was drugged by someone, he shouted your name.”
“Weren’t you just using this young face to seduce Eddie?”
“Even if you were younger than me, I would still tear your face apart. Let’s see how you can still seduce Eddie!”
Arabella must have known about what happened at the party, which is why she came to mock me sarcastically.

I stepped back step by step when suddenly footsteps could be heard from outside, “Arabella?”
Arabella suddenly panicked and, turning her hand, she cut her arm with a fruit knife and threw it on the ground.
When Eddie came in, he happened to see the injury on her arm, and his face immediately changed.
“Arabella!”
Eddie tenderly went to support her.
“Eddie, don’t blame Kylie. I don’t know what I did to offend her. She insisted on saying that she wanted me to disfigure myself, and I accidentally scratched my arm. She’s still young, so don’t blame her…”
Arabella looked pitiful, but she was the first to complain.
It became that I wanted to ruin her face.

He got so angry at me for the first time. Feeling wronged, I straightened my head.
“I didn’t hurt her, she was lying. I didn’t do anything wrong, I won’t apologize.”
Eddie became even angrier, “Kylie, you are becoming more and more unreasonable.”
He ignored me and picked up Arabella in his arms, then went back to the bedroom on the second floor.
But the nanny locked me outside the door and made me reflect on my actions while facing the wall.
“Unless she apologizes to Arabella on her initiative, don’t come in.”
Eddie uttered these words and coldly turned around and left.
The nanny’s aunt sighed and advised me.
“Kylie, don’t be so stubborn. It’s just apologizing, what’s the big deal.”

“It was raining so heavily outside, wouldn’t you catch a cold if you stayed outside all night?”
“Ms. Hodge is Mr. Lucero’s sweetheart, so it’s no wonder he got angry when you scratched her.”
I quietly looked at the lights inside, but my heart remained calm and undisturbed.
“I didn’t hurt her, and I won’t apologize.”
After saying that, amidst the nanny’s sigh, I turned around and walked into the rain.
The rain was really heavy.
Originally, I had planned to leave in three days, but before leaving, I wanted to have a good talk with Eddie.
There doesn’t seem to be a need for it now.

I walked out of the villa alone, feeling lost and confused
Walking forward along that road, I didn’t know how long I had been walling when I almost got hit by a car.
I only felt my head heavy and dizzy, and I saw a figure getting out of the car.
Just two black eyes.
When I opened my eyes again, I found myself walding up in the hospital to a fall and handsome boy smiling at me. “Kylie, you’re finally awake!”
I looked in confusion and discovered that the person was Jaden Jenkins
“How did I get here?”
Jaden hurried over to support me, “Don’t move around, you have a fever and you don’t even know It.”
“Fortunately, I ran into you yesterday. But speaking of which, how come you were walking alone outside in the heavy rain? Didn’t your dad entrust you to a friend? Did he mistreat you?”
Jaden’s question made me tired, and I closed my eyes, “It’s nothing, I had nowhere to go.”
“What about you? Weren’t you on a business trip outside? How did you suddenly come to Sea City?”
Jaden laughed.
He heard Meadow say that I had agreed to marry him, so he excitedly ended his business trip early, without even going home, and ran to Sea City to find me.
He said he would personally bring back his fiancée, Esmilled and said, “Okay, I will go back to Cloud City with you, and we will get married when we return.”
Three days later, Eddie realized that he hadn’t seen me for several days.
When he was having breakfast, he looked at that empty seal and furrowed his brow, asking the nanny, “Where is Kylie?”
“Has she not admitted her mistake yet?”
The nanny hesitated to speak, “Sir, Kylie disappeared three days ago!”
Eddie looked up in astonishment. The spoon in his hand clattered and fell.
“What did you say?”
“What does ‘disappeared‘ mean?”
