Chapter 16
Julius stayed in the hospital for half a month. The day after he was discharged, he flew to Switzerland.
Below Eileen’s apartment, Julius had been standing all night.
It wasn’t until the early morning of the next day that I saw Eileen leaving with the child in her arms.
At that moment, Julius strode over quickly and grabbed her arm, saying, “Eileen, I finally found you!”
Eileen was taken aback, her brows furrowing instantly. “Julius, what are you doing here?”
Eileen never dreamed that she would see Julius so soon.
She had originally planned that, after she had sorted out Gideon’s school application and stabilized her own job, if by that time Julius had not signed the divorce agreement, she would personally go back and talk to him face to face.
I didn’t expect him to show up so quickly.
“Are you here to talk to me about divorce? Eileen’s tone was so cold that it sent shivers down one’s spine.”
Julius paused, before he could explain, his gaze was drawn to the child in
her arms.
He took a step closer, with a kind look in his eyes and, on his face, “This… should be Gideon, right?”
Chapter 16
Eileen’s heart clenched, her eyes instantly turning crimson.
She didn’t say another word, she picked up the child and left.
Julius was confused and quickly caught up, “Eileen, what’s wrong? Why are you angry?”
Upon hearing this, Eileen really didn’t know whether to cry or laugh.
He took her child away for a whole four years.
She brought her lover and illegitimate child back home to torment her again.
But even now, he is still asking her why she was angry.
In an instant, Eileen seemed to have lost all her strength.
She held the child, sighed in despair, then turned and glared at Julius, saying,
“Julius, I have nothing more to say to you. I advise you to quickly sign the divorce agreement. I don’t want to have anything to do with you anymore!”
“Eileen?” Julius asked, furrowing his brow in pain. “Why do you have to get a divorce? Can’t we just live as a happy family?”
“A family?” Eileen sarcastically tugged at her lips, “The family you’re talking about, does it include Gideon, does it include me?”
Julius paused, he understood what Eileen meant.
He raised his hand and rubbed his forehead in pain, “Eileen, I know what you mean. I already know what that bitch Paula did to you.”
“I have already reported to the police, and now they are searching for her.
Chapter 16
I believe your enemy will be caught soon.
“Once we catch Paula, I will send Archie to the orphanage, and then bring you and your son back to New York. From then on, we will live a good life as a family. How does that sound?”
“Archie?” Paula stared at him in shock, her heart sinking. “You actually plan to send Archie to an orphanage?”
After all, Archie was the child they had raised for four years, even though he was not born to Eileen, he was Julius’s biological child.
Now, he actually wanted to send the child to an orphanage.
Julius, Julius, you truly had no heart, only selfishness and self–interest!
Back then, in order to please Paula, and to hide the fact that he was cheating.
He didn’t even think about it and sent Eileen’s child away.
Now, in order to bring back Eileen and her son, he is once again resorting to the same old trick of sending Archie away.
He was really a sophisticated egoist!
Thinking of this, Eileen was almost laughing out of anger.
She squatted down and lovingly stroked Gideon’s little face, asking, “Gideon, this uncle said he wants to be your dad. He can buy you lots of toys, lots of snacks. Do you want him to be your dad?”
