Zachary nodded encouragingly the box had a distinctly classic appearance.
When she opened it, inside was a necklace.
“This is the necklace my brother got at the auction. Isn’t it beautiful? It’s called the Heart of the Volcano. I’ve never seen such a large red diamond!”
Beyond the red diamond, what made this necklace special was its design it was created by the late master jeweler Felman
It had once belonged to a financial tycoon, and now it had somehow appeared at an auction house on the East Coast

“Zac, hurry and put it on Sarah Mia urged.
Zachary picked up the necklace and gently brushed aside Sarah’s hair to fasten it. The red diamond was surrounded by smaller diamond pieces, making her collarbone appear even more delicate.
“It looks perfect!” Mia took several photos with her phone.
Late that night, Mia went upstairs ?
Zachary stayed. After some intimate moments, Sarah took out a watch from the cabinet. This is for you.”
But Zachary refused, “I don’t want you to feel obligated to give me gifts in return.”
Sarah shook her head and put the watch on his wrist. “I bought this a few days ago. I meant to give it to you yesterday but forgot. It’s not a reciprocal gift.”
Hearing this, Zachary smiled
He took off the watch, and seeing Sarah’s confused expression, softly explained, “It might hurt you.”
Sarah blushed and hid under the covers, Zachary slipped under them too.
At the City Mental Health Center, Lucy suddenly noticed her regular doctor had been replaced with a new, gentler one.
During lunch, she learned from her brother’s caretaker what had happened her previous doctor hadn’t been arranged by her brother. The Reynolds family had intervened, preventing James from getting her out
But now, all those watching her were gone
Late that night, the caretaker woke her and took her back to the Chancer house. It wasn’t until she saw her mother in the
living room that reality sank in, followed by overwhelming joy.
“Mom, I’m out!” she exclaimed, hugging her mother tightly.
“You don’t know how terrible it was! The doctors made me take strange medicines every day, I was surrounded by mental patients who were always causing chaos they were all crazy! If I resisted, they put me in a straitjacket. I couldn’t move at all. I was almost driven insane!” Lucy sobbed
Mrs Chancer looked at Lucy with pity, stroking her head. “My poor daughter, you’ve suffered so much.”
James came downstairs “You’re back?”

“No! I won’t go to the old mansion” Lucy clung tightly to her mother
James grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the door. “Come on! You’re going whether you want to or not, unless you’d
prefer going back to the mental hospital”
“James, how can you be so heartless? Your sister just got out,” Mrs. Chancer tried to intervene.
“Fine, if you won’t go to the mansion, I’ll send you right back to the hospital. Make your choice,” James stopped and coldly stared at Lucy.
