Chapter 19
Edgar still opened the liquor cabinet door and took out bottle after bottle of wine.
The wine that used to be stored in the wine cabinet has long been drunk by him, and now he has replaced it with several batches.
There was no way, only when he was drunk could he briefly fall asleep, only then could he reunite with Stephanie in his dreams.
Edgar opened a bottle of wine, tilted his head back and drank it down. Before long, the bottle was empty.
He was extremely clear–headed.
After drinking who knows how many bottles, he found a pile of empty bottles next to him, and only then did he feel slightly drunk.
Half asleep and half awake, he seemed to have returned to the past.
This time, he firmly pushed Amelia, who pretended to fall in front of his car, without giving her a glance.
He bought Stephanie’s favorite cake and placed it on her desk, waiting for her to come home.
Every time Amelia deliberately approached, Edgar would unhesitatingly reject her and treat Stephanie even better.
Although life was plain, it was the best form of happiness.
When he woke up from the dream, Edgar found himself unconsciously smiling.

However, in reality, the spacious villa was empty, with only him alone, guarding a pile of photos.
He was drunk, holding onto a bottle of alcohol, his consciousness muddled and unclear, his whole body filled with loneliness.
At that time, the assistant informed Stephanie of the search process as
usual.
Perhaps to avoid him, she didn’t stay in any place for too long.
The assistant had just found out her whereabouts and address with great difficulty, and she set off for the next place again.
Until this time, the assistant quickly found Stephanie’s whereabouts and immediately sent a message to Edgar to inform him.
Seeing no response for a long time, the assistant was not surprised, knowing that he was most likely drunk.
So the assistant made a phone call.
The phone kept ringing for a long time before Edgar finally answered with a frown.
“What happened?”
“Mr. Ferguson, we have located Mrs. Ferguson’s latest whereabouts in Islington, London. If we hurry over now, there is a high probability that we can find her!”
Upon hearing the assistant’s words, Edgar instantly snapped out of it and cleared his throat.
“I am arranging for the closest available personnel to surround her in Islington. I will catch the earliest flight over there now, please help me book the tickets!”

Chapter 19.
After hanging up the phone, Edgar grabbed some essential items and headed straight to the airport by car.
The plane to London took off, and Edgar was very nervous. He had thought of countless ways to apologize in his mind, desperately hoping to make it happen.
At the same time, Stephanie was unaware that he had come over.
She traveled all over the world, just to see the natural scenery and cultura customs of different countries and regions.
It’s like fulfilling the dream that was not achieved when I graduated from college.
When she graduated from college, she married Edgar. At that time, he was very possessive of her, wanting to be with her all the time and never be apart.
However, due to his job, even if he could go on business trips or take time off, he never had the opportunity to travel around the world.
It was also for this reason that she chose to further her studies at this
university and later stayed on to become à teacher.
All her spare time was spent with him, and the dream of traveling around the world was constantly postponed.
Now, Stephanie has also had enough fun and accepted the invitation from a top professor at a university in France to work as his assistant, completing a project that she is very interested in.
In the past, when she was establishing connections between two schools, she met this professor.
The professor was very impressed with her at that time and also sent her a collaboration invitation. She rejected it because of Edgar, but this time

she will not reject it again.
Stephanie packed up all her luggage, checked out of the hotel room, and headed to the airport with her suitcase.
At that moment, Edgar had just gotten off the plane and, through the crowd, he immediately recognized her at a glance.
“Stephanie!”
His voice cut through the noisy crowd and reached Stephanie’s cars.
She instinctively lifted her head and met his gaze head–on.
