Raven’s face turned bright red as she stammered: “But… but we grew up together…“]
“So what?! Growing up together gives you special privileges?” I looked up at her with a mocking smile: “Raven, let me ask you a few questions.“]
“What questions?” She looked at me warily.[]
“First, do you know why Kai refuses to get divorced?“]
I put down my coffee cup, “It’s not because of love–it’s because without me, he’s nothing.“]]

“One last question,” I stood up, looking down at her, “If Kai really went bankrupt and was plagued by stomach problems, would you still want him?“]]
Raven was completely speechless.[]
