The comments in the livestream chat exploded.
“Did Chloe Sterling not even read the evidence? She looks like she has no idea what she’s
looking at!”
“This is nothing like her usual decisive style. But this evidence notebook was compiled
by Stella Hayes. Could it be that Stella…”
Even the judge frowned, reminding her, “Ms. Sterling, you are currently the defense attorney for the defendant.”
He then announced a one–hour recess. Chloe turned to me, her face contorted in horror.
“How could you hurt me? I was trying to help you! How could you create fake evidence to
ruin me?!” Her voice was frantic, her eyes darting nervously.
But I stood up in court, calm and composed. I picked up the evidence she had dropped
and read it out, word for word. This entire book of evidence was based on reversing my
own previous findings.
“What you just said… wasn’t that the evidence I used to prove Yang Youfu’s guilt in the first trial? Have you forgotten?” My voice was clear and resonant. “Chloe, you fabricated
evidence back then, attacking my proof to protect a murderer. Doesn’t your conscience
bother you?”
I knew she had sent people to follow me these past few days. I had deliberately exposed
my “search for victim’s evidence,” and she had believed that simply reversing my findings
would serve as the wealthy heir’s acquittal. The livestream’s popularity soared, more and
more people flooding in.
Sweat beaded on Chloe’s forehead. She pointed at me, accusingly. “She’s trying to frame
me!” Her voice was desperate. “This is fake evidence! She’s hidden the real stuff! Search
her!”

Calmly, in front of everyone, I pulled out the carefully crafted fake evidence I had prepared for her. “I do indeed have a book of… fake evidence!”
Chloe instantly smiled. “See! She admitted she’s deliberately trying to frame me!”

Countless reporters surged forward, waiting for me to continue. My gaze sharpened. “I’m not here today to clear a murderer’s name. I’m here to expose *you*!”
Chloe’s face turned ashen, and she staggered back two steps. “You’re talking nonsense! What is there to expose about me?!”
I took one step after another, closing in on her. “I know your secret, Chloe. How have you been winning all my cases?”
“It’s just because you’re incompetent!” she insisted, still trying to bluff. But everyone could see her guilt. The chatter among the crowd grew louder.
“Yeah, she seems to only want to take Stella Hayes‘ cases.”
“It’s true, for a month after Stella resigned, she refused to take any cases, no matter
what.”
I grabbed her lowered head and forced her to face the media, to face me! “Chloe, are you still trying to swap our lives?”
