chapter 250
Nearby, Bianca Watts had also finished writing her wish. Just as she finished preparing her Wish Candle, Elvin glanced over.
The moment their eyes met, she said, “I’m done.”
Hearing this, Elvin smiled and asked, “Shall we release them together?”
Bianca nodded. “Okay.”
With that, she picked up her Wish Candle and walked with Elvin toward the riverbank.
The Wish Candle drifted away as she gently placed it on the water’s surface.
Meanwhile, Bianca cupped her hands under her chin and silently prayed, “I hope all my wishes come true.”
Elvin watched her earnest expression, momentarily transfixed.
But he quickly snapped back to reality, sending a message to his assistant: “Now. Intercept my baby’s Wish Candle.”
Only after receiving an ‘ok‘ emoji did Elvin lower his phone.
As Bianca finished her silent prayer, she opened her eyes.
She turned to Elvin. “Where should we go next?”
Before he could answer, movement caught his peripheral vision–two figures entering through a shop’s low doorway.

Blair Avery and Diane Huffman.
The instant Elvin saw them, his smile vanished completely.
Noticing Elvin’s stern expression, Bianca asked, “What’s wrong?”
Seeing Bianca remained unaware of Blair and Diane’s approach,
a wicked idea sparked in Elvin’s mind. He suddenly grasped Bianca’s hand,
pressing her palm against his chest.
Feigning pain, he whispered, “Baby, quick–check my heart. My chest feels tight.”
Elvin’s expression didn’t seem fake, leaving Bianca momentarily stunned.
Seeing his pained grimace, Bianca immediately stepped forward to support him, her hand slipping inside his clothing.
As a doctor, she couldn’t afford to dwell on gender distinctions when facing a patient.
Pressing against Elvin’s chest, she frowned and asked, “Does it hurt here?”
Elvin still wore an agonized look. “It hurts.”
Bianca moved her hand to another spot. “What about here?”
Elvin looked down at her, his tone serious. “Yeah, that hurts too.”
Bianca’s frown deepened as she muttered to herself, “That shouldn’t be…”

Patiently, she pressed on Elvin’s stomach. “Here?
Does it hurt?”
While she examined him, Elvin kept watching Blair and Diane’s
movements.
Both had noticed Bianca and Elvin upon entering.
Neither spoke a greeting.
Soon, the shopkeeper went to attend to them.
Diane found herself distracted by the shop’s signboard. Staring at the advertisement, her thoughts drifted to Elvin.
He’d clearly seen her enter with Blair, then suddenly pretended to be unwell–was he trying to make her worry?
Despite these thoughts, Diane didn’t approach Elvin. Instead, she turned to examine the Wish Candles.
Blair stood beside her, seemingly distracted, his gaze repeatedly drifting toward Bianca and Elvin.
Bianca continued checking Elvin, but no matter where she pressed, he cried out in pain.
When she pressed against his chest, Elvin even moaned with pleasure.
He didn’t hesitate to make the sound publicly.
The moan made Bianca’s scalp prickle. She shoved him away sharply. “Elvin! What are you doing?”
Elvin grinned up at her. “Nothing. Just felt like my chest wasn’t so tight

anymore after your touch.”
Bianca didn’t want to argue. Turning away, she prepared to leave.
But in that instant, she saw Blair and Diane.
Diane was studying the Wish Candles, while Blair watched Diane studying them.
They were inseparable, glued together.
Blair’s eyes held nothing but gentle warmth as he looked at Diane.
Seeing this, Bianca snorted coldly without thinking.
Just as she was about to leave, Diane suddenly turned to Blair. “Blair, let’s release Wish Candles.”
Blair smiled. “Okay.”
Diane beamed, her eyes curved like crescents. “Thank you, Blair.”
Blair returned her smile, then told the shopkeeper, “Give us two of your largest Wish Candles.”
