I said coldly, “Your sister planned and played all of this. Just like last time when she falsely accused me of locking her up in the doghouse, her purpose was to sow discord and kick me out of this family.”

Alex looked like he was about to eat someone. “My sister has been so well–behaved since she was a child, how could she do such a thing? It’s you, Victoria, who has been acting all weird since my sister came back. How had the Caldwell family wronged you? Tell me!”
He gestured with the knife in front of me.
Betty rushed over, blocked the way, and shouted anxiously, “I can testify that Elena did all this to herself, and Mrs. Caldewell has never had any ill intentions toward you…”

The family of three got into the ambulance and went away.
I helped Betty up and picked up the phone on the ground.

I smiled slightly and looked at Alex, who was becoming more and more uneasy. “Why don’t you say anything?”
Alex trembled and lowered his head. “Vicky, I–I think you should move out temporarily. I can give you another chance.”
“Get her out of here!” Margaret yelled angrily.
Elena looked at the items scattered across the yard. There were more than thirty suitcases of various kinds.
She immediately became anxious. “Victoria, you can only take your own things. So many suitcases, and they must contain the Caldwell family’s property.”
Elena pushed Margaret away and grabbed Alex’s hand, shaking it. “Alex, get the bodyguards to open them up. What if there is jewelry in there? Is she going to run away with the money?”
