Zachary arrived at the hospital quickly. Before he even entered the room, he could hear the girl’s hoarse crying.
The nurse explained anxiously, “Mr. Reynolds, I don’t know what happened. After you left, Miss Reynolds was sleeping, but when
she woke up, she just started crying and hasn’t stopped. Her voice is hoarse now, and she won’t respond to anyone – she just keeps saying she’s scared.”
“I’ll see her.”
When Zachary entered the room worriedly, Mia didn’t have a strong reaction to him. Instead, she looked at him pitifully. “Zach,
is that really you?”
She spoke while sniffling, tears falling nonstop.
Zachary softened his voice, “Yes, Mia, it’s me.”
“Have you come to save me?” Her voice trembled with desperation.

Zachary froze for a moment, instinctively remembering how Mia had looked back then, just like now like a broken doll.
“Yes, I’m here to save you.”
Mia shuddered and suddenly threw herself into his arms, still sobbing. “Zach, where’s Sarah? I want to see Sarah.”
“Mia, you’re sick right now. You need to stay in the hospital.”
“No!” Mia suddenly screamed, “They’re all bad people! They want to kill me! They want to kill us! Take me away quickly!”
She gripped Zach’s hand tightly. “Brother, please, take me away.”
Her face was covered in tears, and Zachary couldn’t bear to see her like this.
“Okay, I’ll take you away.”
Mia calmed down but kept repeating, “I want to see Sarah, take me to Sarah.”

Before she got the call, there was a lock at the door – the fourth visitor today.
She limped to open it and found Zachary supporting Mia at the doorway. “Mia? Why did you bring her back?”
The moment Mia saw Sarah, her eyes lit up and she quickly embraced her. “Sarah!”
Zachary looked exhausted as he came in and closed the door, sighing, “Mia wouldn’t stop crying at the hospital. She kept asking for you.”
He quickly moved to support Sarah, helping both women to the couch.
Mia stood up excitedly, circling Sarah as if checking for injuries, tears in her eyes. “Sarah, brother came to save us!”
She was saying things Sarah didn’t understand, but Sarah could see the genuine concern in her eyes..
Mia hugged Sarah tightly, crying, “We’re saved.
“Mia, what are you talking about?” Sarah asked nervously, watching her.
