After leaving the hospital, Charlotte noticed he seemed lost in thought. “James, are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” he said glumly.
Charlotte linked her arm through his, “By the way, my parents are pushing for our wedding. They’re already picking out clothes for the ceremony.”
She was subtly reminding James. She hadn’t been in a hurry before because she felt James loved her deeply, but now she was worried
“Discuss the wedding details with my mother,” James said
Charlotte nodded happily, “I’ll make sure to plan everything well with auntie.”
As they walked, she continued, “I must wear the most beautiful wedding dress, and the perfect shoes.”
