“Six o’clock exactly! It was exactly six Charlotte insisted firmly.
“You’re wrong. I went to the restroom at 6:10,” Sarah stated matter–of–factly.
Charlotte stared at her in disbelief, “That’s impossible! The server told me you left your seat at six exactly.”
Lucy anxiously cut in, “Sister–in–law, maybe the server got the time wrong? Either way, she snuck into your lounge while you were in the bathroom.”
Charlotte shot Lucy a stern look what a brainless thing to say. But since it was already out there, she steeled herself and quickly added, “Miss Sanders, I can’t give you an exact time. After all, who checks the time when they go to the bathroom?”
Sarah nodded, “True, they wouldn’t. But this is your wedding day, and your makeup artist seemed quite certain about the timing?”
Tm saying maybe the server got the time wrong, but you were the only one who left after I exited the lounge. The server saw you go to the lounge – that can’t be a lie, can it? Among everyone here, I can’t think of anyone else who would dislike me this much” She lowered her eyes, her eyelashes fluttering.
“Miss Garnett, while you have no evidence I went to the second–floor lounge, I can prove I didn’t go upstairs but was taking phone calls instead.”
Sarah calmly took out her phone and thrust the call log in Charlotte’s face “Look carefully. At 6:02, Zachary called me we talked for three minutes. At 6:05, I called Senior Jane – we talked for five minutes. So I went to the bathroom at 6:10. I took
these calls by the main entrance, which should be on camera.“
She turned to the server, “Don’t tell me the entrance cameras are broken too? I might have to file a complaint”
The server broke into a cold sweat, “Miss Sanders, about those cameras…”
Charlotte clenched her fists, her body tense. Her plan was falling apart because of two phone calls, but she couldn’t back

She fell silent, looking tenderly at Zachary as he approached.
“My girlfriend, Sara, was indeed on the phone with me earlier. Miss Garnett, would you like me to repeat the content of
conversation?”

“Why is he here? Mr Reynolds actually came?”
“He must be here for Sarah Did you hear him say ‘my girlfriend? Are they?”
“Don’t be ridiculous. Someone as exceptional as Mr. Reynolds couldn’t possibly be interested in Sarah”
The Chancer and Garnett families were stunned as Zachary stood in front of Sarah, blocking most of their view
Charlotte’s face turned pale. “This isn’t a big deal Miss Sanders, why did you need to call Mr. Reynolds to back you up??”
