“Sarah Sanders. I’m a counselor at Adams University. I’ve been trying to contact you since you returned to the country but haven’t been able to. I hope you don’t mind my direct approach.”
“Not at all. And this is?” Jane looked curiously at Zachary.

He nodded slightly. “I’m Zachary Reynolds.”
She looked familiar to him. “I believe we’ve met.”
Sarah raised an eyebrow, giving Zachary an odd look. Was she flirting? And with such a cliché line?
But Jane smiled, her guard dropping. “Mr. Reynolds doesn’t remember? You once consulted me about your sister’s psychological
issues.”
“Ah, now I recall,” Zachary’s expression remained unchanged.

A touch of warmth entered Zachary’s cold eyes – why did she seem let down?
He remembered Mia saying Sarah wanted to meet Jane for more than just the competition, though she wouldn’t tell Mia why.
Now he was pretty sure it must be about Mia.

Zachary’s eyes filled with tenderness – Sarah truly cared about Mia.
“You’re right. Mr. Reynolds came to me hoping for a cure, but I didn’t have enough time to help her,” Jane said regretfully.
Sarah thought for a moment. “Dr. Lawrence, Adams University is holding a psychology knowledge competition in four days. Would you consider being a judge?”
