Chapter 7
At that moment, Adam was utterly shocked.
He glanced at Kellie.
“Adam, please don’t look at me like that. My stomach is in so much pain- I need to lie down in the room.
‘Amy is already dead. This must be a fabrication by that person trying to grab attention.”
She got up and attempted to head upstairs, trying to bring Adam with her.
However, this time Adam held firm, gripping Kellie’s arm tightly.
“Everything in the video is true, isn’t it?
“Why did you kill Amy?
“Who is that man? Are you plotting together to seize control of the entire Lombart family?”
When Adam questioned Kellie, she quickly responded with a pitiful cry, “Adam, please don’t treat me this way. I’m scared! I really haven’t done anything! Please, trust me, okay?”
Adam, however, simply called his assistant.
“I only trust the investigation’s findings,” he said.
Just then, my voice unexpectedly came from the TV
“Hello everyone, I am Amy Lombart.”

At that moment, the audience realized it wasn’t actually me speaking but rather a recording playing from my hand.
“I imagine many of you wish I were out of the picture–and here’s the twist, I actually am.
“I realized that Kellie wouldn’t spare me once I stumbled upon her secret.
“I believed that by revealing the truth to my brother, he’d finally understand Kellie’s true nature.
Sadly, I misjudged Kellie’s ruthlessness. She was far too clever for me to
outmaneuver.
“Even most of the Lombart family’s maids were under Kellie’s control through bribes. I doubt they ever suspected that the ‘cherished‘ Kellie they adored was secretly poisoning them.”
As I recount these events, I can’t help but find it all absurdly amusing.
“So… I realized Kellie was going to try to kill me because I caught her cheating with that guy.
“She set me up to look like I drugged my brother and spread rumors that I was in love with my own brother to isolate me.
“She wouldn’t let me expose the man or her plan.
“I know that she is out to kill me.”
Despite my bitter tears, my eyes reflected a serene acceptance, as if everything finally made sense to me.
With that, the recorder stopped completely after delivering its last line.
Then, my room’s door was forced open.

I stayed still, just holding the camera tightly to my chest.
The footage stopped at that exact moment.
The comment section of the show was once more filled with lively discussions.
Witnessing the scene, Kyle rose and embraced his team, crying uncontrollably.
Amidst his tears, he said to the viewers, “I want to clarify that Amy is not the promiscuous person everyone claims she is.
“In reality, she was a kind–hearted girl who yearned for her family’s love and support.
“It’s tragic that the very family she hoped would protect her chose to align with the one who wished them harm.
“I cannot let her fade away in this world. I am truly sorry.”
This time, the audience no longer directed their anger at me.
Instead, the comments were filled with apologies.
In the comment section, two sentences repeatedly caught the eye. “Sorry!” and “Uncover the truth!” over and over again.
Meanwhile, Adam’s assistant provided him with the investigation findings.
“Mr. Lombart, we’ve verified that Ms. Meade bought the soul–restraining spell paper.”
Upon hearing this. Adam turned back to Kellie with a piercing stare.
“Now explain to me–what on earth is happening?”
