Elena’s POV:
“Niko!” 1 sobbed, my voice breaking as he continued his relentless thrusts, each one sending shockwaves through my already overstimulated body.

Okay, that was a half–lie. Because he was right. I did compare him to Dmitri often. But unbeknownst to him, he was usually always better. Which didn’t make me feel good. Just that I had wasted half a decade of my life on hech a man. With nothing to show for it.

Nikolai turned on the bath, the sound of rushing water filling the room. He settled down with me in his lap as the warm water quickly filled the tub I sighed, pulling back slightly, realizing that my home didn’t have a bailarab. If he actually came to stay with me, how would he live! I still thought he was joking when he said he’d come live with me.
I would just have to figure out a way to make this work. Maybe go back and forth. I knew that would be exhausting with work and university, but 1 couldn’t leave either of them. Not just because mom would be against me not having a source of income, but also because I myself couldn’t bring myself to just spend Nikolai’s money without having any of my own. Expecially when I knew this marriage would only last a year.

out of bed. He was in grey sweats and nothing else, while I looked down to find myself in matching grey shorts and a softer–than–I–had–ever- touched cotton white tank top. My last memories were of drifting off to sleep in the bathtub.

Dmin’s voice echoed through the house, screaming my name as I heard the loud steps on the staircase. My eyes widened. “You’ve got to be Lidding me. Why does he have access to your home!! I couldn’t help but ask Nikolai, I wasn’t ready to face Dmitri. Not like this. Actually. I wasn’t ready to face him at all after what he’d said in front of everyone earlier at the wedding. I wanted nothing to do with him.
I prayed that he would get lost and not find the room.
