Chapter 17
With the timing in mind, Bianca’s ovulation period was these two days. If she got pregnant now, they wouldn’t have to keep doing this every month.
Sandra thought he was going to find Bianca to scold her, so she immediately agreed without a second thought.

Outside the hospital, Bianca and Kellie had just stepped out and were standing by the road.
Lynette, understanding how hurtful Sandra’s words must have been to Bianca, wanted to comfort her. But before she could say anything, Kellie beat her to it. “Bianca, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that about Winnie.”
Kellie looked up at Bianca with a serious expression, clearly feeling guilty.
After all, Winnie was Bianca’s daughter. What she said earlier must have made Bianca sad.
Bianca looked down at Kellie, her heart filled with emotion–both touched by the thoughtful Kellie and saddened by Winnie’s immaturity.
She bent down and gently patted Kellie’s head. “You didn’t do anything wrong. You don’t need to apologize to me. It’s my fault for spoiling Winnie.”
Kellie hugged Bianca and rubbed her face against hers. “Bianca, don’t

be sad. I’ll always be here with you,”
Bianca’s heart ached even more. “Okay, I am not sad.”
The two of them held each other for a while until a taxi finally arrived. Bianca straightened up.
Lynette, seeing Bianca glance at her, smiled and said, “Bianca, you’ve changed a lot.”
Bianca let out a self–deprecating smile. “I woke up too late.”
Lynette gently patted her shoulder, her voice warm and comforting. “It’s okay, let’s head home.”
“Okay.”
Bianca bent down to get into the taxi, but just then, a low, distant voice called out behind her. “Bianca.”
She stopped in her tracks and turned to look at Blair. This time, there was no longer any joy or affection in her eyes when she looked at him. She saw him as if he were a complete stranger.
She asked, “What’s wrong?”
Blair stepped a little closer, his voice cold and distant. “Let’s have a meal together.”
Bianca hesitated for a moment, unsure of his intentions.
It had been five years of marriage, and this was the first time he had suggested eating together.
But she wasn’t naive enough to think that he wanted to spend time with her out of affection.

She thought maybe he had seen the divorce papers she had prepared. and wanted to discuss it.
Otherwise, why would he be so calm about inviting her to dinner?
With that thought, Bianca agreed. “Alright.”
She then turned to Lynette and Kellie. “Lynette, Kellie, you two head back first.”
Lynette didn’t want to get involved in Bianca’s personal matters. Though she was worried, she didn’t press her for more details.
Once the taxi pulled away, Bianca got into Blair’s car without a word.
Inside the car, neither of them said anything, and the atmosphere was heavy with silence.
Bianca stared out the window, her mind preoccupied with her own thoughts. It wasn’t until the car stopped that she realized they were heading to Golden Residence Mansion.
When the car finally stopped, she realized they had already arrived at Golden Residence.
She didn’t ask about the dinner–it didn’t feel necessary anymore.
Blair got out of the car and walked toward the villa without saying anything, and Bianca followed silently behind him.
He headed upstairs, and she followed him up.
When they reached the bedroom, Bianca thought Blair was going to bring up the divorce, but to her surprise, he started unbuttoning his suit.

Bianca froze for a moment before quickly turning away. “W–What are you doing?”
Blair paused, his hands halfway through unbuttoning his shirt. When he noticed she had turned away, he let out a scoff. “You don’t actually think I’m going to sit at this bed and have dinner with you, do you?”
At that moment, Bianca understood–he was talking about having a
