Everyone at the table had their own thoughts.
Only Rudolph and Matthew Jackson seemed like outsiders.
Graham couldn’t help but chuckle seeing Davis so protective of Bianca.
Of course, he didn’t hold back, asking bluntly, “Davis, are you
blind?
Any random stray can be your sister–in–law now?”
Davis remained remarkably calm. Instead of getting angry, he shot Diane a meaningful glance before turning back to Graham. “Seems like the blind one might be someone else.
Honestly, I’d like to ask you the same question.”
Graham snapped. Slamming the table, he stood up and growled, “Davis.”
Davis didn’t even rise, just leveled a cool stare at him. “What’s your move?”
The tension was palpable, a fight ready to erupt.
Elvin instinctively shielded Bianca, shooting Blair a cold look across the table.
Sensing Graham was about to throw a punch, Blair intervened sharply, “Graham, don’t cause trouble.”
Graham slumped back sulkily, frustration simmering.

This was the second time tonight Davis had provoked him, and in the Lee family’s venue, he couldn’t just lose it.
Davis knew Graham was fuming but still tossed fuel on the fire. “Coward.”
He was well aware Graham wouldn’t dare start anything here at the Lees‘ place.
Seeing Graham miserable was pure satisfaction for Davis.
Meanwhile, Matthew Jackson nudged Davis under the table, whispering, “Picking fights is illegal. Don’t play into their hands.”
That finally shut Davis up.
Ignoring Blair’s table entirely, Davis turned to Bianca. “Sis, you and Elvin sit tight. I’ll grab you
wosome cake.”
Bianca smiled gratefully. “Thank you.”
Watching Davis’s eagerness, Diane stomped her foot hard under the table.
Davis didn’t even know who Elvin truly liked, yet here he was fawning over the wrong person.
Noticing Diane’s reaction, Blair leaned in. “Everything okay?”
Diane shook her head quickly. “Oh, nothing.”
As the banquet wound down, Jacob finished making rounds of toasts and returned to their table.
He stood behind Blair, gently patting Diane’s shoulder. “Mr. Lu asked me to give you something.”

He pressed a small box into Diane’s hand.
Diane accepted ‘it, startled. “Huh?”
Jacob explained softly, “Hollis sent this for you.”
Diane froze. Did Blair’s grandfather already know about her?
Was this gift… approval of her relationship with Blair?
Seeing her daze, Jacob added, “Stick with Blair. He’s a good man.”
Hearing that, Diane felt certain Hollis knew of her existence and accepted it.
So she obediently told Jacob, “Don’t worry, Uncle Jacob. I’ll definitely stay close to Blair.”
Jacob smiled and nodded, then addressed everyone at the table.
“There’s a dance party later. Enjoy yourselves before heading home.”
Davis chimed in loudly to avoid awkward silence, “Sure thing, Uncle Jacob!”
After Jacob left, Adam glanced at his wristwatch. Seeing how late it was, he stood up.
He bid farewell to Elvin, Bianca, and Davis before departing.
Adam needed to get back to Eric, so he couldn’t stay longer.
Soon the banquet concluded, and Jacob arranged for guests to proceed to the ballroom.
The entire group gasped at the opulence inside.

Liquor, beverages, fruits, cakes, and snacks were all laid out.
Beyond these, dazzling light displays, a stage, and a grand piano awaited.
Davis turned to Bianca, extending his hand. “May I have this dance, Bianca?”
Before she could respond, another hand slapped Davis’s away.
Davis shot Elvin a disgruntled look. “How stingy.”
Meanwhile, Diane froze upon spotting the stage piano, her feet rooted to the floor.
Blair moved to ask her to dance, but Diane pointed at the instrument first. “Blair, may I play for everyone?”
The invitation died on Blair’s lips. “Of course,” he replied warmly. “Do whatever makes you happy.”
