chapter301
But now, why did she dislike her so much?
Bianca straightened up and slowly walked to the guest room.
Lying in a place that felt both familiar and strange, sleep wouldn’t
come.
AS
Since she couldn’t sleep, she pulled out her phone and started scrolling through videos.
She had just opened the app when the first video that popped up was Diane’s again.
This time, the video background was in a bar. Similarly, only the area from the jaw down to the abdomen of the person opposite her was visible.
Though she couldn’t clearly see the man’s face, Bianca, after pausing the video, surprisingly noticed it didn’t look like Blair at all. Instead, the hand looked a bit like Elvin’s.
If she remembered correctly, Elvin had a faint scar on his hand.
And in the video, as the man sitting opposite Diane raised his glass for a toast, the scar on the back of his hand became clearly visible.
The caption read: “It feels so good to have someone by your side. Especially when he’s a 6’3” hunk.”
Bianca scrutinized it carefully and finally confirmed: the person in the video was Elvin.

To avoid guessing wrong, she made a special trip to Blair’s room, where he was already passed out.
This only confirmed her suspicion–the one drinking with Diane now was Elvin.
After scrolling through just one video, Bianca couldn’t focus anymore.
When she finally fell asleep, she had a dream.
In the dream, Elvin climbed through the window again.
He seemed to walk over, lie down beside her, and pull her close.
In her drowsy haze, Bianca couldn’t help murmuring, “Elvin?”
But the next moment, a low, husky voice whispered by her ear: “Dreaming of him, huh?
Did you sleep with him in your dream?
Is that why you clamped your legs so tight?”
Bianca hadn’t fully recovered from the flu; her body burned hot as if roasted by fire.
When Blair’s low, magnetic voice sounded by her ear, a jolt of electricity shot through Bianca’s body.
Dazed and disoriented, she struggled to open her eyes from her dream.
She’d seen Elvin in her dream, so why was she hearing Blair’s voice?
The moment her eyes focused on the figure before her, Bianca’s body jerked violently. Instinctively trying to retreat, she found Blair’s hands planted firmly on either side of her–escape was impossible.

By the faint light from the window, Bianca barely made out Blair’s expression. His brow was slightly furrowed as he studied her with intense scrutiny.
“Blair, move. What are you doing?”
Her voice emerged hoarse and unrecognizable.
THERE
Simultaneously, she pushed against Blair’s approaching form.
His chest pressed against her palm; even through the thin shirt, he felt the feverish heat of her fingers.
As he leaned down, his body blocked all light, leaving his face an indistinct shadow in the darkness.
Unable to see him clearly, Bianca snapped urgently, “Blair, get out.”
Blair remained unmoved. Instead, his hand shot out to grip her jaw with crushing force.
His voice carried an icy chill that seeped into her bones: “Slept with him?”
Wincing in pain, Bianca rasped scornfully, “What exactly are you trying to say?”
Blair suddenly closed the distance, his face filling her vision as he narrowed his eyes. “Did you file for divorce because you think he’s better than me?”
Bianca wasn’t sure which aspect of “better” he meant.
But hearing any comparison from Blair was rare, so she retaliated ruthlessly: “Blair, finally admitting you’re not up to par?”

A flicker of displeasure crossed Blair’s features before he laughed abruptly. “Or maybe you just don’t interest me?”
