Eula looked up and met Scott’s solemn gaze. A chill ran down her spine.
“S–Scott, what are you doing?” she stammered.
She struggled hard to set herself free, but his grip was too strong.
Just as she was starting to suffocate, he suddenly flung her to the floor with brute force.
She hit the ground, and pain shot through her body. Tears welled up in her eyes immediately.
“It’s me, Eula! Scott, how could you do this to me?”
Scott sneered and retrieved a stack of photos from the drawer before throwing them against her face.
The photos scattered across the floor. Eula’s face turned pale as she stared at them.
Every single photo showed her in compromising positions with various men during her time in Morinth. Some of them were outright indecent.
I had hired a private investigator to dig into her past and personally had these photos delivered to Scott.
After Eula sold confidential documents to Chapman Corp’s biggest rival, she took the money and fled to Meldoria. She spent months living in drunken debauchery before being passed around until she ended up in Morinth. Since she was cooperative, she became a favorite to a few gang leaders. That gave her some freedom.
She didn’t need to escape to get back to the country. She came back because those men got tired of her, and she’d heard that Chapman Corp had grown even more powerful.
My investigation was thorough. Even Chapman Corp’s rival cooperated, handing over several damning videos and audio clips of their dealings
with Eula.
When Scott saw all the evidence, disbelief flashed across his face, and it was soon followed by a seething rage.
He’d been fooled this entire time by Eula’s sweet and kind facade. She had never suffered. She’d been living in luxury the entire time.
