“You think treating me like this is going to move Natalie? Listen up. She’s already with someone else!”
Scott was caught off guard by her blunt accusation. He was momentarily stunned before erupting in fury.
“Shut up! Stop slandering Natalie!”
Eula laughed like a madwoman.
“Scott, you idiot! Only Natalie ever treated you like
you
mattered.

“Too bad, she doesn’t love you anymore. And no one else ever will!” She mocked.
The words had barely left her mouth when Scott’s face turned red. He spun around and yelled at the maid nearby.
“Bring me the whip!”
Eula began thrashing wildly in the restraints. She screamed in a high–pitched voice.
“You dare hit me? Scott, you
animal!”
His tall figure loomed over her. With a flick of his wrist, the whip cracked through the air with a terrifying snap.
He didn’t want to hear another word. The whip hit her again and again. He wasn’t holding back.
Eula screamed in agony almost instantly. Her voice turned hoarse before breaking off into weak, strangled gasps. She sounded like a dying
animal.
“Sir, this is a delivery from the court.”
A maid stepped forward and handed him an envelope.
Scott frowned, dropped the whip, and snatched the envelope without thinking.
“What is this-”
His heart clenched. A feeling of dread washed over him, but he opened the envelope anyway.
