Chapter 21 The Grand Arrival
Xavier’s text glared from her phone screen in his usual imposing tone. “Bree was wrong today. I’ll ask her to apologize to you, but you must apologize to Karina too!”
Fuming with anger, Eliana cursed through gritted teeth. “Brainless idiot!”
She blocked Xavier instantly and tossed her phone aside.
Katelynn gave Eliana a sly grin. “Babe, aren’t you going to the auction. with Trystan the day after tomorrow?”
Eliana nodded. “Yep.”
“Let me pick your gown! I want to see your luxurious walk–in closet.” Katelynn was curious.
“Fine. Take anything you like,” Eliana agreed.
The closet doors swung open.
“Wow!” Katelynn gasped.
“Babe, this is huge! It’s bigger than our boutique in Steelville!”
The sunken–style closet spanned three tiers, crammed with haute couture gowns and jewels.
Trystan had it renovated after Eliana came back, and it had just been fished yesterday.
“I thought mine was big, but yours is just insanely huge.” Katelynn. looked at the stunning gowns and sighed longingly.

Eliana held a gown and looked at herself in the mirror. “It’ll do. I’ll have it expanded when it can’t accommodate more clothes.”
What was she thinking back then? Inheriting the family fortune would’ve been so much easier.
Just then, the butler knocked and came in.
Two maids followed him and wheeled in a rack of gowns.
“Ms. Harrell,” the butler said respectfully. “Prada delivered their new handmade collection. They asked you to pick first before the launch.”
“I got it. Leave them there.”
Eliana led Katelynn up to the rack and said generously, “Take whatever you like. If nothing suits you, I’ll have them bring more.”

Katelynn’s eyes lit up like stars. She cupped Eliana’s face and gave her kisses. “Babe, you’re the best.”
Laughter filled the walk–in closet.
Meanwhile, inside the Rolls–Royce, Xavier’s face darkened as he saw the red exclamation mark beside his text message, fury blazing in his eyes.
He slammed his phone onto the back seat, startling Brianna who’d been scrolling her phone beside him.
This woman….
She actually blacklisted him again.
With Eliana unreachable, he snapped at Micah in the front passenger seat. “Still no response from Apollo Group?”

Micah wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and said awkwardly under great pressure, “No. They’ve been ignoring us.”
Xavier loosened his tie impatiently. “Then what about Trystan’s recent schedule?”
“I got it. He’ll attend the auction of Angel Auction House in Plymbourne the day after tomorrow,” Micah answered hastily.
Xavier frowned deeply and said, “Get ready. We’ll go to the auction the day after tomorrow.”
Brianna immediately perked up. “Take me. I’ve never been to an auction. I gotta see what it’s like.”
“This is business. You’ll only cause trouble for me,” Xavier refused flatly.
“Please?” Brianna pouted, not giving up.
Seeing that Xavier didn’t budge, she turned to Karina, who’d been feigning sleep, and blinked pleadingly. “Karina, talk to him. I promise I’ll behave.”
Karina opened her eyes and gave a gentle smile, persuading Xavier, “I’ll go with you and keep an eye on her.”
Since Karina offered to help, Xavier reluctantly agreed.
The night of the Angel Auction arrived.
Almost all the celebrities in Plymbourne came to the auction.
A sleek Rolls–Royce pulled up in front of the auction venue. Xavier got out of the car with Karina on his arm, making a grand entrance.

Brianna trailed behind them, awkwardly straightening her dress.
Entrepreneurs rushed to greet Xavier when a sudden buzz erupted nearby.
“Only Apollo Group would allow even a GM assistant this level of grand arrival,” someone muttered nearby.
Simultaneously, the door of the freshly parked stretch Lincoln swung open. All eyes turned as Eliana emerged in a crimson gown and high heels.
