Chapter 18
“Give me an hour, and I guarantee it’ll be restored exactly as it was before,” Ash said with a smirk, still looking lazy and indifferent.
When the art restorers heard this, they all laughed, not in a happy way, but somewhat mockingly.
“Kid, are you even of legal age? Do you know how much this painting is worth? Do you think you can restore it? You haven’t even grown a beard yet. How could you possibly restore anything?”
“Yeah, with all of us working together, it would still take a week. And you, a young man, think you can do it in an hour? Young people these days just talk nonsense and act so arrogant!”
Hearing the art restorers‘ words, Quinton’s expression became even more displeased.
“Vera, are you kidding me? Did you arrange for this inexperienced kid to restore my precious painting? How dare you try to fool me like this! Do you believe I can make your shop go bankrupt?”
“No, it’s not like that. Mr… I mean, this young man can really do it. He has certificates,” Vera said in defense.
Ash kept all of his certificates in Vera’s possession, and without hesitation, Vera took out the credentials and placed them

the table.
“Well, well, interesting. A certified national–level art restorer.”
“Are the certificates even real?”
Vera was infuriated by this group of people. Each one of them was a major patron, and over the years, they had paid substantial membership fees to the Scenic Garden, easily totaling over 200 thousand dollars annually.
If it were just Quinton alone today, Vera could have used force to subdue him or relied on her own influence to suppress him. But with all prominent figures from Kingstonia present, it was a different story.
So, even though she felt frustrated, Vera held it in.
She could only curse these people in her heart for their short–sightedness.
In the entire Kingstonia, besides Ash, there could not possibly be à second person who could restore this painting in just an hour.
Ash had never been looked down upon, nor had he ever suffered the slightest injustice.
She was genuinely worried that Quinton would provoke Ash, and the consequences would be unimaginable.
“Give it a try, no harm in that,” Wesley said in a cold tone, breaking the peculiar atmosphere in the room.
He
was like a king here, and every big shot in the room had to consider his mood.
What he said went unchallenged.

Naturally, Quinton was also deeply afraid of Wesley and did not dare to go against him. However, at the same time, he was deeply concerned about his money. So, when he heard Wesley’s words, he did not readily agree but hesitated momentarily. “Mr. Feron, this painting is very valuable. I’m worried…
“Worried about what? It’s just 20 million dollars. Is it worth defying Mr. Feron over 20 million dollars?”
“Yeah, it’s not that big of a deal.”
The crowds started to persuade Quinton, each making their own comments, which made him cave in.
Gritting his teeth, Quinton finally nodded, “Fine, kid, go ahead and restore it!”
Ash walked into the room and exchanged a glance with Wesley before saying, “I like to work in peace. If anyone disturbs me while I’m working and I make a mistake, I won’t take responsibility.”
“You, kid, you’re just trying to shirk responsibility!”
“I never shirk responsibility, so from now on, shut up!”
Ash glared at Quinton and made a hushing gesture.
Soon, the unconscious waiter was carried out, and a group of people brought in a large table with various tools.

Chapter 18
Ash put on gloves and safety goggles, and she began to showcase her skills in front of everyone.
Everyone present fell silent, not daring to speak.
They feared that they might disturb his restoration and ruin the painting if they said anything.
These big shots had seen all sorts of grand occasions, but witnessing the restoration of a famous painting like this was a first for them.
They were curious to see what Ash could do in just an hour.
