Chapter 27
Ash carried the box and the painting with one hand without thinking. She pulled the door open and went into the corridor.
“Where’s Wesley’s room?” She stood beside the handrail and asked the servant who was cleaning on the first floor.
The servant raised her head. When she was about to answer the question, a voice suddenly came.
The voice was deep, steady, cold, and magnetic.
It was quite attractive and domineering. Everyone would be attracted upon hearing the voice.
Wesley just stood across the corridor with his hands in his pocket. He was tall and straight.
His long legs were thin, straight, and long. He only wore a shirt, so his beautiful muscle lines could be seen.
He said nothing but people would feel pressure as long as he stood there. He was like a king.
Ordinary people would stop or lower their heads when they saw him.
His temperament and his gaze were both quite cold.
Ash wasn’t afraid of him though he looked so cold. She turned around and walked to his side.
She looked even more domineering than him. “What’s wrong with this painting?”
“Thirty million dollars. I bought it from a manager called Vera Blanton in Scenic Garden. I want to ask you why did the painting go to her? I sent it to you as a gift.”
Wesley’s face was frozen cold. Even his eyes were also shining with cold light.
He lowered his head to stare at Ash with a seeming smile.
There was curiosity and some emotions that Ash couldn’t understand in his eyes.
“I was short of money, so I sold it to her. Can’t I do that?”
Ash was calm. She didn’t panic or blush at all when she lied. Instead, she appeared that she was quite reasonable.
Hearing this, Wesley frowned even more.
Ash never used a single penny in the black card he gave her.
“You are not allowed to sell this painting. Do you hear that?”
Wesley was expressionless. He was giving an order.
Ash was a stubborn girl. She didn’t like to be ordered. She raised her brows when hearing this.
“You restored the painting yourself. This is your masterpiece. I don’t want to see it being tossed and turned. Antiques are like beauties. They need to
be cared for by those who really care about them. You said that yourself. I hope that you are not talking nonsense.”
“Of course, I’m not talking nonsense,” Ash wasn’t that arrogant just now. She sounded a little softer.
She was really moved by Wesley’s words.
She initially thought he was like those businessmen who didn’t know how to appreciate antiques. And he was just bragging, competing with other businessmen, and showing off his money by doing that.
Now, it seemed that Wesley was one who really understood and loved antiques the most.
‘I will cherish this painting and never sell it again, Finally, she comprised sand said.
Then Wesley nodded in satisfaction. He still acted like a big brother.
He was serious and sincere when saying those things.
“What about the certificate of art restorer?”
He had read Ash’s personal profile. She was just like a hooligan who never learned many things. She was uneducated.

Chapter 27
“This is my privacy. I don’t want to answer this question.”
Ash said coldly and refused directly.
She was direct when answering the question. Wesley didn’t find her answer strange.
They hadn’t stayed together for a long time, but Wesley had already known what kind of people Ash was,
“Go to bed early. Go to school on time tomorrow.”
He no more asked any more questions. He raised his feet, turned around, and left.
Ash returned to her room. As soon as she entered the room, Vera happened to call her and reported the situation to her.
“Donate the money in Wesley’s name this time,” Ash said.
“Okay.” Vera nodded. She stammered, “Mr. Feron, Wesley seems to be a good guy. I think… Maybe you can put down the grudge in your heart and try to accept the love from your family?”
“Okay, I know.” Ash hung up the call.
She kept Vera’s words in her mind….
