The environment in the northern region was indeed harsh, and the piercing cold wind felt like sharp ice knives cutting into one’s face.

In the crowd, Harley saw a familiar figure.

Joaquin smiled at Harley; his eyebrows raised.
After so many years had passed, Harley had long let go of the past. Now, upon seeing Joaquin again, her heart was very calm, without a trace of ripples.
They greeted each other familiarly, like long–lost friends.

“How have you been doing these years?”
Joaquin seemed a bit surprised when Harley took the initiative to ask her,
and she hesitated for a moment before giving Harley a response.
“Same as before.”
And you. was the environment over there very harsh?
Harley nodded.
“Yeah, but it’s alright, I managed to hold on.”
Harley extended her hand and showed Joaquin the ring on her finger.
“I was getting married, Joaquin.”
Joaquin suppressed the bitterness in his heart and slowly spoke, “Congratulations, is it with Harold?”
Harley caressed the ring on his hand and nodded slightly.
After walking side by side, we realized how precious each other’s
presence was.
Joaquin smiled reluctantly.
“He cared about you a lot, at least he wouldn’t let you down.”
Harley smiled.
“In a few days, we were supposed to have a wedding, just a simple meal, a formality. After that, we might go back to doing other research. Will you come?”
Joaquin hesitated for a moment, just as he was about to answer, he was interrupted by someone.
Harold ran over and openly took Harley’s hand, as if declaring his sovereignty.
Over the years, he has also matured a lot, his skin has become much darker. but he still has a youthful energy.
“Harley, Professor Galvan called us to go over.”
Harley nodded and waved goodbye to Joaquin.
“Let’s not talk about it for now, I have something to do.”
