Chapter 39
Aria’s POV
Grayson stormed in with Nora and an entire squad of soldiers closely behind him
The second he entered, the air changed. His Alpha aura slammed into the room like a tidal wave, and the massive crystal chandelier above us exploded into glittering shards.
A split second later, the soldier holding me down screamed. The knife in his hand went flying across the room, and his arm–his entire arm- was chopped off
“Grayson” the former Luna barked. “What do you think you’re doing!”
Grayson whipped around and let out a terrifying wolf roar that shook the walls and ceiling. I almost went deaf.
Everyone froze. Intimidated.
Delilah’s face went white. “What is this? Are you literally starting a war with your own family?”
He ignored her
Instead, he crouched down and scooped me up from the floor. One tug, and the handcuffs snapped like twigs.
“Are you okay?” he asked, his voice low and rough.
“Y–yeah,” I breathed out.
His scent hit me hard, warm yet overwhelming. It made my
by knees weak, but not in a romantic way. More like dizzy, about–to–pass–out kind of
way.
a fucking question Grayson!” Delilah screamed. “Look at me–Have you lost your damn mind?!”
Grayson slowly turned to face her. The expression on his face could literally scare people to death.
His eyes were pure black now, no trace of gray left.
“I lost my mind?” His voice was ice. “It’s you who barged into a shareholder meeting earlier and kidnapped my woman in front of the whole damn world. And if I had been one second late earlier, you would’ve drawn a fucking cross on her face. Now who’s fucking insane here,
Delilah?”
“Wait a second…your woman?!” Delilah shouted, pointing a finger at me. “You can’t be serious, Grayson, Look at her! She’s street whore! She almost became homeless before you picked her up from the street. And you’re the Alpha of Red Stone Pack for fuck’s
Grayson let out a sarcastic laugh. “Says the one who married a fucking leech herself. Let that bastard feed you more crap into your head, Delilah. One day he’ll bleed you dry and dump you like a piece of crap”
Delilah’s face turned pale. She cle
her fists at her sides and let out a hysterical scream at her brother:
“You just can’t stand to see me happy you selfish jerk! You want my marriage to fall apart just like yours! You are ruining my life!l!”
Grayson ignored her. He looked over his shoulder and gave his order:
“Take Lady Delilah and her husband away

Chapter 39
“Yes, Alphal”
“I dare you!” Delilah snarled, her whole body tensing as she shifted hallway Fangs. Claws. Gleaming eyes.
“You gonna flog me again, Grayson!” she cried. “Screw you! I’m not letting you do it again because I’m also a Hart by blood! A Heiress You – can’t lay a single finger on mel
The tension was thick enough to choke on. I held my breath, standing close to Grayson as the two siblings stared each other down. They looked like they’d charge at each other and start a brutal fight at any second.
That’s when the old Alpha finally stood up.
“Grayson. Delilah, I need a word with both of you. Alone,” he said in a deep voice.
“I don’t have the time, Grayson snapped.
“You’ll make time for your father. No need to drag the Elders into this mess, don’t you agree?”
Grayson growled, baring his fangs. “Is that a threat?”
“No,” the old Alpha replied. “Just a father asking his son for a moment. You’re not seriously gonna refuse to even talk to your own family because of her, are you?”
Silence stretched between them.
Finally, Grayson stepped away from me. I immediately started to panic. No’l don’t want to leave him. Yet before I could grab his hand, he pushed me toward Nora.
“Keep her safe,” he said to Nora.
“Yea Alpha.”
And without looking back, he followed the old Alpha and Luna deeper into the castle. Delilah shot me a venomous glare, then stormed after
them
“Maybe I should go too–Jace quickly stood and tried to join them.
“No. You stay.” Delilah shoved him back into the couch before disappearing.
-Just like that, the room cleared,
“So..it’s just you and me now. I sneered.
That son of a bitch sat there looking like a cornered rat. He kept looking at the hallway every few seconds
*Yeah just keep looking Like anyone’s ever gonna invite you to that family meeting” mocked. “You are so fucking pathetic.”
“Shut the hell up!” he hissed, looking desperate. “I had no choice, okay? if you and Grayson hadn’t tried to shove that damn prenup down my throat, none of this would’ve happened. It’s you…You left me no choices…”
“There’s always a choice. You just chose to be a fucking jerk.”
We glared at each other.
And in that moment it was clear: the bottle was on.
Chapter 39
It wouldn’t stop until one of us was in hell.
“Grayson’s not gonna let this slide,” I said coldly
He gave me a twisted smile. “Hold that thought, Aria. You might have overestimated your value in his heart.”
I didn’t answer.
- r. I didn’t have to.
Grayson was here for me, I think that spoke louder than anything
Third Person POV
The four members of the Hart family stepped into a private meeting room one after another. An omega quietly shut the door behind them.
“Control your damn husband, Delilah,” the old Moha said in a low, cold voice.
Delilah’s eyes widened in disbelief. “What the hell papa? You’re taking his side now?”
“No. I’m speaking for the good of the family,” the old man growled. “Look at the mess that idiot pushed you into. You exposed a scandal in the middle of a shareholder meeting and turned the Harts into a laughingstock. Don’t even try to deny it–I know he was behind this.”
Delilah shut her mouth but looked visibly pissed, her face full of defiance.
The old Alpha went on, “Last month you bought him a five–million–dollar watch. The month before that, it was a sports car. And before that? A few villas in Europe.”
“So now I can’t even buy nice things for my own husband? Delilah snapped.
“Let me finish,” the old Alpha said darkly. “You can spoil him with flashy gifts all you want–but that is it. You don’t let that man affect the family’s reputation. You don’t let him make any huge decisions. Understand?”
Delilah bit her! p and shot a bitter glare at Grayson.
“Fine, Dad. Maybe you have a point. But what about him?” she asked angrily. “He beat my husband half–dead for that whore. Aren’t you going to say something about that?”
The old Alpha turned toward Grayson and opened his mouth to say something, but Grayson cut him off.
“Choose your words carefully, Father. I’m not in the mood.”
“I’m still your father, Grayson.”
“And I’m the current Alpha. The highest ranking male in this pack. DO NOT test me. Not even you.”
The old Alpha frowned. He’s clearly not used to being challenged. That’s when the old Luna spoke up in a calm voice
“Let me just ask you something, son. What exactly is that girl to you?”
*She’s mine,” Grayson growled.
“Of course. But I mean, is she just a flingt Someone you have fun with when you feel like it? Or is she something more?”
Grayson’s brows twitched with impatience. “Where are you going with this mother?”
Chapter 39
“Fine. Let me be straightforward then,” the old Luna said. “Would you ever introduce her to the world as your girlfriend? Would you evra consider making her the next Luna of Red Stone Pack!”
Silence.
Grayson narrowed his eyes. The air in the room suddenly grew tense. Everyone fell quiet, watching him, waiting for his answer nervously
“…Of course not.”
He said it plainly after a short pause.
“You know that ever since Isla, I’ve lost all interest in marriage.”
Everyone in the room visibly relaxed. It was obvious–that was the answer they were hoping for
“That’s all I needed to hear,” the old Alpha said. “Then keep your relationship with her under control. Once you’ve had your fun with her, let
her go.”
“I know what to do,” Grayson replied coolly
“You too, Delilah,” Luna turned to their daughter. “Stop letting that idiot drag you into this nonsense. We Harts control others–we don’t let anyone control us.”
Got it, Mom,” Delilah muttered.
The old Alpha stood up with the help of his cane. “Alright, I’ve wasted enough energy on this crap. Go deal with your own messes. We’re done
here.
Grayson gave a small nod and turned to leave. Delilah quickly followed him out
“-Grayson!”
She caught up with him in the hallway. Her beautiful face looked twisted and cold under the dim lights.
“This isn’t over.” she hissed.
“Don’t push it,” he said, shooting her a frosty glare.
“No. I’ve let you have your way my whole life. Even when you clearly thought I was an idiot, I kept my mouth shut. Because you’re my brother. But Jace made me realize–Im done being a pushover.”
She straightened her back and stepped in front of him, a cold smirk on her lips.
“if you can’t run the company properly, I don’t mind stepping in as the rightful heir…I also have the right to Red Ston remember?
But her little act of defiance didn’t get the reaction she wanted.
Grayson looked down at her and let out a soft laugh, like her challenge actually amused him.
“No wonder Jace won you over,” he said quietly. “You’re both brainless idiots.”
“What the hell you asshole-
But he was already walking away. His fall figure quickly disappeared at the end of the hallway.
