Chapter 17
When Abigail was pushed out of the operating room, there was only the bodyguard responsible for watching over her outside.
Before she could recover from the pain of losing her child, she found herself being scorned by the crowd.
Overnight, she lost everything.
Amanda didn’t expect to see Abigail again. The University of Paris was about to start, and during this time, she was busy getting her studio on track and didn’t pay attention to domestic news.
Seeing her standing outside her studio door, Amanda frowned, thinking she was there to show off again.
Just as she was about to speak, a sudden pain shot through the back of her neck, and she instantly fainted.
When Amanda opened her eyes again, she found herself locked in a room, feeling weak all over.
She looked at Abigail and bit her tongue to keep herself awake.
“What did you want to do?”
“What do you want me to do?” Abigail laughed, staring at her with at sinister look, grinding her teeth.
“I wanted you to die!”
“Why did I fall into hell, while you are still loved by people, Amanda? 1

was so jealous of you; I was driven to madness!”
Amanda noticed that something was off with her expression, so she leaned back and tried to distance herself from it.
“You were already pregnant with his child, what do I have that is worth your jealousy?”
Abigail slapped her hard after hitting a sore spot.
“Because of you, my child was forced to be aborted. The doctor said I can never get pregnant again. Are you satisfied?”
“I had nothing left to lose, but it’s different for you. Even someone like Terence has specially assigned bodyguards to watch over me, afraid that I might do something to you. But the more he does this, the more I hate him!”
Abigail suddenly burst into laughter, as if possessed by madness, and stared at her fiercely.
“Amanda, why didn’t you go and die?”
Amanda groaned, feeling dizzy from the slap, but regained some strength due to the pain. Seizing the opportunity, she dialed the emergency contact, her lips trembling.
“I also lost a child, it’s not just you who suffered.”
Abigail seemed to remember something and couldn’t help but laugh. She laughed uncontrollably.
“Yeah, your child was killed by his own hands, so was mine. Isn’t it similar? But you are much happier than me!”
She took a few steps forward, grabbed Amanda’s face, held a knife, and

carefully examined it, murmuring.
What is so good about this face that he can’t forget it?
Abigail made a light cut, and blood beads instantly emerged. Watching Amanda frown in pain, she felt a great sense of satisfaction.
“Do you think I only wanted to ruin your face? No! I want to see if, after being mistreated by countless people, they will still be so devoted!”
“Since we were so alike, you should have accompanied me to hell!”
Amanda silently watched her until she was not paying attention and tried to go out and call someone, then she exerted all her strength to pounce on her.
The knife fell from her hand and rolled on the ground for a few rounds. Amanda crawled over and picked it up, finally letting out a sigh of relief.
Abigail was pushed and hit the back of her head on the ground. She became furious and grabbed her hair, delivering a few slaps.
“Want to run? Dream on!”
Amanda was feeling weak and limp, forced to let herself vent until she was thrown to the ground. Only then did she raise the knife to her own neck, her voice feeble.
“Abigail, if I died here, you wouldn’t be able to escape either. I had already called the police, and there is surveillance outside the studio. Sooner or later, they will find this place.”
“If you don’t want to die, then let me go!”
Abigail stared at her, her face twisted, and she screamed madly, “Then you will die with me!”

“Just before dying, I found twenty beggars for you, so that you could also
taste the humiliation.”
Abigail clapped her hands, as if to call someone in, but to her surprise, there was not a single sound.
Amanda breathed a sigh of relief when she saw this. It seemed that Calvin had received the message and rushed over. As her nerves relaxed, waves of pain that had been ignored before suddenly hit her, and she felt dizzy.
