Chapter 25
Terence returned to his country, only to be met with the calamity of imprisonment.
Lily got into an argument with Abigail at the hospital and accidentally stabbed her to death. She also had the suspicion of intentionally killing someone. The whole family ended up in jail.
The police were still searching for the missing person when they saw the live broadcast and the netizens who were watching it voluntarily provided clues. As a result, he was apprehended as soon as he got off the plane.
The news made headlines, but Amanda, who was far away in a foreign country, did not pay attention.
The first stop of their honeymoon was in Bali, where they enjoyed the view of the sea.
Calvin came over with an open coconut, saw her gazing at the sea, and playfully stole a kiss.
“What happened?”
Amanda glared at him, took the coconut, and just tilted her head and laughed.
“It’s nothing, just reminded me of the obsession I had with the sea when I was in my home country.”
The sea remained as beautiful as when she first saw it, but it seemed to have gained a touch of regret.

With a burden on his shoulder, Calvin embraced her in his arms and playfully patted her head.
“How simple it is. The next stop, we go to Maldives to see the sea, and then continued on to Marseille…”
He said many places and finally concluded, “I have already told my parents that we are going on a year–long honeymoon, and we have plenty
of time.”
Yeah, such a simple thing, but unfortunately some people couldn’t do it.
Amanda smiled at the girl full of sincerity from a few years ago, and then she pulled Calvin towards the beach.
“Who spends a whole year on their honeymoon? They handed the entire company over to their parents. Are you even embarrassed?”
“Gotta accompany the wife, can’t lose face!”
Five years later, Terence was released after serving his sentence.
He took the last of his capital and started a small company. He wasn’t wealthy, but he still donated most of his money to charity.
Perhaps it was the good karma from doing good deeds, Terence once again saw Amanda.

University of Paris celebrated its centennial anniversary, invited back to give a speech as an outstanding alumna.
Terence was like a rat in the gutter, greedily hiding in the crowd to catch a glimpse of her figure.
She didn’t seem to have changed much, but rather, because of being nourished by love, she had a bit of her former student days‘ appearance.
It was also a scene where numerous stars surrounded the moon, shining brightly and dazzlingly, making people feel ashamed.
Until the ceremony ended, Terence remained in a daze but instinctively. followed along.
“Amanda…”
Amanda seemed to have heard it, and yet it seemed like she hadn’t heard it. Her gaze swept across his face and quickly turned away with a smile.
Terence watched as she walked towards Calvin, listening to him mutter.
“I was told to accompany you on stage. What if there are so many people and they start pushing? The baby will start bothering you again.”
Amanda leaned in his arms, smiling sweetly.
“What’s the matter? How would it look if you and I went on stage. together, and besides, I have to be careful, he’s only a few months old, who knows so much.”
With a loud bang, there was a flash of lightning and thunder.
The pea–sized raindrops fell down, instantly drenching Terence into a chicken soup.
He stood in place, letting the rain wash over him, staring blankly as Calvin protected her and helped her into the car, their actions intimate.
Terence, would you give me a home?
With the rain, he seemed to hear the voice of Amanda from his student days, and the scenes from that time appeared before his eyes, frame by

Not long after, Lily passed away in prison, leaving Terence completely alone and his health deteriorating.

She was wearing a white dress and looked at him discontentedly, complaining.
Why hasn’t he come yet? He made me wait for the date for so long!
He tried his best to lift his hand, as if he wanted to touch that figure, but in the end, it fell heavily.
With his eyes closed, he shed the last drop of regretful tears.
