Charlotte quickly shook her head. “No, no, I’ll just buy a pregnancy test and check myself.”
“Alright, that works too. Let’s go.” Gregory checked the time; he needed to hurry back to the office for a meeting.
“Then I’ll drive you to school. Remember to buy a pregnancy test.”

Gregory drove her to school.
“Let me know the result this afternoon.”
“Got it, goodbye.” Charlotte unbuckled her seatbelt, getting ready to get out of the car
Gregory gave a mischievous grin. “Aren’t you forgetting something?”

Gregory leaned in, hinting that she should kiss him.
Charlotte blushed, shyly pushing him away. “Stop it.”
“Come on.”

“Goodbye.” Charlotte got out of the car and waved at him again.
Gregory didn’t say anything more and drove off.
She watched the car disappear into the distance.
Charlotte felt her heart flutter, her cheeks burning again and again.
After living two lifetimes.
This was the first time she truly experienced the sweetness of love.
“…Gregory, do you really love me?”
She realized that she was starting to fall for Gregory too, and deep down, she actually hoped for a happy ending with him.
After finishing her classes in the morning.
