Watching the online controversy gradually die down, Sophie breathed a sigh of relief.
She had always maintained the image of a wealthy heiress on social media. After that video was exposed, the comments under her account were filled with insults and accusations.
Now that the “misunderstanding” had been cleared up, she started plotting to frame me again.
When they first brought me back, they didn’t make it public. Because Sophie suffered from depression, Jaxon and Rosie didn’t want others to know that Sophie wasn’t their biological daughter.
But Sophie’s manipulations officially pushed me into the public spotlight.
She started livestreaming online, “accidentally” showing her antidepressant bottles and “casually” mentioning that there was another mentally ill person in the house.
After Sophie implied that I had caused her depression, internet users all felt sorry for her.
Jaxon also reversed our identities in front of outsiders: “Olivia is just my adopted daughter, and she’s mentally ill. I felt sorry for her back then, so I took her in.”

I didn’t really care about their words, since they didn’t dare do anything in front of me.
Ever since Rolly died, I stopped controlling my emotions. When I was unhappy, I’d smash up the house, start fires in the middle of the night, or throw kitchen knives around like darts for fun..
They finally realized I really was mentally ill, and that mentally ill people were capable of anything.
Jaxon tried countless times to have me committed to a psychiatric hospital, but was rejected every time. The hospital’s explanation was reasonable: my evaluation results were all normal, and I hadn’t reached the level requiring mandatory treatment. For mentally ill patients within controllable limits, hospitalization required the patient’s consent.
Rosie screamed that I had episodes every day and was beyond help.
The doctor immediately asked her if I had hurt anyone. Aside from stabbing Sophie’s hand that first time, I had maintained good control since then.
But after being evaluated so many times, I felt very impatient and said that if they tried to send me to a psychiatric hospital again, I’d drag them down with me.

Jaxon decided to host a banquet to designate Sophie as the company’s heir.
He said: “I’ll give Sophie 20% of the shares, and she’ll inherit the company in the future. You’re mentally ill, and I already gave you ten million dollars before, which is more than enough.”
Then he stared at me warily, afraid my mental illness would flare up again.
But I was delighted, because this was a perfect opportunity.
On the day of the banquet, Sophie made a glamorous entrance in an exquisite gown. I wore a white t–shirt and sweatpants, sitting on the terrace enjoying the breeze.
Just then the door opened, and Sophie led a group of people outside.
“Olivia, what are you doing here? Why haven’t you even changed your clothes?” Sophie looked extremely surprised, covering her mouth as she stared at me.
Behind her were people from wealthy circles, each wearing expressions of arrogance and disdain.
Someone sneered: “She’s such a country bumpkin, doesn’t even know to wear formal attire to a banquet. Sophie, how could your family adopt such an ignorant, mentally ill foster daughter? Are you running a charity?”

Sophie said innocently: “Don’t talk about her like that, she’s still my sister. If she gets upset, she’ll do crazy things.”
The people present seemed to understand something.
A girl said: “You’re just too soft–hearted, that’s why you let
a mental patient threaten you. You could just kick her out directly.”
A guy laughed: “If I were you, I would’ve made her cry and beg for mercy long ago.”
Another guy said: “We’ll help you teach her a lesson. Even violent maniacs can be trained into obedient dogs, let alone a mental patient.”
Then they surrounded me, laughing as they tried to grab me.
I seized the throat of the person closest to me, preparing to throw him over the railing.
He screamed in terror, and everyone else froze.
I said: “Since you know I’m mentally ill, don’t you know I kill people? Sophic, why didn’t you tell them about how I almost killed you before, yet you let them mess with me?”
Everyone’s gaze turned to Sophie, their eyes filled with anger.

Sophie hurriedly said: “Olivia, I thought you only hated me. You can hurt me, but the others are innocent. I apologize to you, please don’t be angry, okay?”
She took two champagne glasses from a waiter’s tray and looked at me pitifully.
I looked at the wine, then at Sophie’s innocent face, and splashed the champagne at her: “Sophie, you don’t really think I don’t kill you because I don’t dare to, do you?”
Sophie instinctively opened her mouth. Then she seemed to remember something, quickly shut her mouth tight, and frantically wiped the wine from her face: “You’re just a lunatic. I’ll kick you out sooner or later.”
I smiled and said: “Then hurry up and go accept that 20% stake.”
