Chapter 100
Paulette looked at her with a flirtatious look, her face turned red all of a sudden, and she stammered, “What are you talking about? No way.”
She and Jeremiah have only kissed once so far, nowhere near that level.
Cecilia obviously didn’t believe it, she raised her eyebrows and said with
a
a smile, “It’s okay if you’re not feeling well, if it’s really bad, I’ll give you a day off.”
“You really don’t have to!”
Paulette was at a loss.
Her gaze made me feel uncomfortable, so I stood up and pushed Cecilia’s shoulder, “Ms. Gomez, please don’t take me for granted. I still have a pile of papers to grade. You go do your thing!”
Pushed Cecilia back to the office, Paulette let out a long sigh of relief.
Jessica hasn’t had any news so far, and I don’t know how she’s doing.
However, as soon as she sat down at her desk, Jessica’s phone rang.
“Are you okay?” Jessica may be fearless, but she’s not heartless. Caught by her fiance yesterday, she felt a bit guilty. “Is your fiance giving you a hard time?”
Paulette felt bad for blaming herself for everything, and said, “It’s okay, I didn’t do anything.”
“That’s true.”

“But your fiance doesn’t look like someone to mess with at all,” she said, remembering Jeremiah’s look from last night, inexplicably giving her the chills. “Tsk, I won’t dare to bring you along for this kind of thing in the future.”
Paulette thought it was refreshing, “Are you scared of him?”
“I’m not scared either.”
“What’s that?”
“It just feels like he’s really wicked.” Jessica propped her face with one hand and muttered, “He looks easygoing and laid–back, but those eyes are just irresistible. I’m starting to worry about your married life, Paula.”
Jeremiah and Nelson, they were like two completely different people.
Nelson, you know.
There was something wrong with his character, Jessica couldn’t be bothered to judge him.
Jeremiah was different.
He seemed harmless at first glance, but if you provoked him, it felt like he could easily bite you to death.
Paulette also thought for a moment and sighed, “Don’t say you, even I am very worried.”
The two of them discussed this topic and came to a conclusion – you must firmly establish your position before marriage to avoid losing your status in the family after marriage.

and I can meet Mr. Swanson again.”
Jessica seemed to be fired up, “I just don’t believe it!”
She has never been afraid of anyone her whole life!
Paulette didn’t want to let her down, so she kept agreeing.

After hanging up the phone, Cecilia appeared in front of the workstation.
Before Paulette could speak, she quickly said, “Don’t rush me, let’s talk about work.”
She knocked on the table and said, “How’s your draft coming along? Lynda personally told me to make sure I get your draft to the boss.”
Paulette was stunned, then handed her a stack of jewelry design drafts. Compared to the previous rough drafts, these improved designs were more perfect, with a strong personal style and commercial value.
Cecilia’s eyes lit up, “Paulette, I really didn’t choose the wrong treasure!”
Paulette didn’t quite understand what she meant, looking confused.
“Nothing…”
She didn’t explain, there was a hint of meaning in her eyes, “I just think you’re very talented, you’ll definitely become a super awesome designer in the future.”
What’s more important is… with her relationship with the boss, maybe the whole Dreammaker will be serving her in the future.
I wonder what Paulette’s reaction would be if she knew the boss’s true identity.
Cecilia chuckled and raised the design draft in her hand, “I’ll submit it for

you this afternoon, wait for my good news.”
Paulette looked at her back and felt something weird.
But couldn’t quite put it into words.
But there’s nothing to worry about.

Although Paulette didn’t fully understand Cecilia, she was sure that she wouldn’t be like Kaylyn.
After a busy morning at work, Paulette was planning to grab a bite in the office, but then Cecilia dragged her out, saying, “I know a great fondue place nearby with amazing beef, let’s go, my treat.”
“I wanted to eat instant noodles in the office.” She also had a design drawing that she hadn’t finished.
“What instant noodles are you eating? Your fiance should know better.”
Cecilia walked out with Paulette and managed to convince her with a few words.
The restaurant was not too far or too close, so they walked there. Paulette couldn’t tell if it was her imagination, but she felt like the
