Chapter 10
“Carol, Carol, are you okay?”
Caroline had a splitting headache, feeling like she was immersed in darkness.
She thought, after death, it feels like this, neither going to heaven nor descending to hell.
Just fell into endless darkness and emptiness.
But who was calling my name?
Caroline felt like there was a light ahead of her, was that the road to heaven?
She blinked hard to see the light spot clearly, and then she stepped forward and ran towards it.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes and found herself in a bright light.
The glaring sunlight made her unable to open her eyes.
In front of her, someone was screaming frantically at her. She felt herself being held by someone, with noisy voices around her.
This sound is so familiar, who is it?
Caroline struggled to open her eyes, the intense white light gradually fading away, and she finally saw the person in front of her.
“Ah!! Caroline was so scared that she pushed Joshua away. How could
”
he be here?”
Have you still not been able to get rid of him even though you are already dead?
“Carol, what’s wrong with you? Joshua looked at the person pushing him away in confusion, “Did you get heatstroke from dancing too much?“”
Dancing? Thanks to Kelly, I had already lost my legs long ago, how could I still dance…
Incorrect!
Caroline carefully identified her surroundings, everything looked familiar, and she recognized the people around her. This was…
“School?! Caroline exclaimed.”
She looked around at the people, all of whom were members of the dance troupe, including Joshua, and…
Caroline looked down at her lower body, her legs! Her legs were fine! They were her own legs!
She suddenly stood up, bouncing and jumping around. After
confirming that her legs were unharmed, she couldn’t help but cry tears of joy.
She realized that she had been reborn, and reborn before Kelly crashed into her.
Caroline looked around and realized that the current scene was the pre- graduation party, which was also the last time she had danced in her past life.
In less than three days, Kelly would drive towards her, she would lose again…
No! It’s not possible!
The same mistake, she will never make again!
Caroline looked at Joshua, who had a worried expression on his face, and thought about the image of him leaving her a few minutes ago to find Kelly.
Oh. Joshua! I have made you in this life! Go well with your Kelly.
As for Kelly, it is best not to try to hurt herself again.
Otherwise, since God had given her another chance to live as Caroline.
She would never let these people off the hook!
After making up her mind, Caroline brushed off the dust from her clothes and smiled, telling everyone that she was fine.
Most of the other people just laughed and said it was okay, then they went their separate ways.
Only Joshua still looked worried, insisting that she go back to the hospital for another check–up.
Caroline pushed him aside and said coldly, “Joshua, I need to change and remove my makeup. You go back first.”
Joshua’s face was instantly filled with confusion: “Why? Didn’t we agree to go cat?”
“I’m not going anymore, I’m a bit tired and I want to go back and have a
good sleep.
Caroline didn’t hesitate and directly rejected Joshua. She had just hated him so much that she didn’t even want to live.
Ask her to go to dinner with him now? How is that possible!
She had to go back and plan carefully how to avoid getting her legs broken by Kelly again in three days.
Joshua saw that she seemed really tired, so he didn’t force her and just said, “Let me take you back to your dorm.”
Caroline thought about it and eventually agreed.
I couldn’t let him know that he had come back to life.
If there is too much change in attitude before and after, he will
definitely suspect.
And now they are boyfriend and girlfriend, so it was only natural for him to walk her back to the dormitory.
Caroline smiled at him as she held the clothes, “Wait for me, change.”
I’ll
go
Joshua indulgently patted his head, “Good.”
What he did not see was that, in the moment she turned around, the smile on Caroline’s face immediately disappeared, replaced by an undisguised coldness.
