Chapter 7
After getting home, Priscilla started sorting out the assets divided after the divorce.
After getting married, Angelo made a lot of money, which is considered marital property. According to the law, she can get half of it.
She didn’t want the houses and cars, just took the money, and decided to donate all the proceeds to charity.
During this time, Angelo never came back, I wonder what he’s been up to.
Miley actually gave her a call, wanting to meet up and chat.
Two people met in a coffee shop, exchanged a few polite greetings.
Miley apologized for what happened on her birthday.
“Ms. Shepard, that day my friend drank too much and spoke without thinking. If he offended you in any way, I hope you can be the bigger person.”
Priscilla tugged at her lip and said, “There won’t be a next time, I’m leaving Ushurg soon, and I won’t let this little thing bother me.”
When she said she was leaving, Miley had a look of both surprise and joy on her face.
“You’re leaving? Because of me? Sorry, Angelo and I were together before, but that was a long time ago, I…”
Priscilla saw the joy in her eyes, looked straight at her.
“Ms. Garcia, have you really let go? Even if you have, Angelo has never let go of you. He listens to the piano you played every night with his headphones on; whenever he gets drunk, he only mentions your name; on your birthday every year, he buys a cake and sits in the study until late at night…”
Priscilla paused, recounting all these past events one by one, she suddenly felt extremely tired: “No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get into his heart. The fact is, sincerity can’t be exchanged for sincerity. I’m tired, so I decided to give up this marriage.”
Miley was stunned for a moment, then she spoke again to confirm, “So… are you really getting a divorce with Angelo?”
“Yes, the divorce agreement has been signed. Tomorrow is the last day of the cooling–off period. Anything related to Angelo from now on has nothing to do with me.”
Priscilla said this openly and then left without looking back at her expression, grabbing her bag.
But as soon as she opened the door, a group of enthusiastic fans holding Miley signs suddenly rushed towards her, as if they wanted to come in directly.
She changed her expression and quickly locked the door.
There were people kicking the door outside the private room, and two people were trapped inside, unable to get out.
Miley didn’t expect to run into so many crazy fans at this time. She was at a loss and could only call Angelo to tell him about it and ask him to come help.
He quickly rushed over, squeezed through the crowd to the door of the compartment, and managed to get into the room in the chaos.
He came in a hurry, and his usually meticulously pressed suit was a bit wrinkled.
“Miley, there were too many fans blocking you outside, the only way now is for you to swap jackets with Priscilla, I’ll take you away first.”
Miley experienced being chased by crazy fans, and immediately looked at Priscilla with a pleading expression. .
Priscilla felt empty inside.
He came up with a great idea, perfectly protecting his crush, but did he ever think about what she would do.
She chuckled self–deprecatingly, didn’t say anything in the end, and just took off her coat.
After changing clothes, Angelo didn’t even look at Priscilla, he just left with Miley.
The compartment door briefly opened for a moment, then quickly locked by Priscilla.
She was wearing Miley’s clothes, quietly listening to the increasingly loud shouts outside.
After waiting for a long time, the fans outside the door gradually lost their patience and forcefully kicked open the private room door.

Chapter 8
A group of people crowded in front of Priscilla, pulling and dragging.
Her hat, mask, and sunglasses were quickly ripped off.
After realizing she wasn’t Miley, the fans‘ excitement turned into anger as they viciously pushed Priscilla to the ground and cursed at her.
Countless feet trampled on her, leaving behind bruises and marks.
She barely protected her vital parts in the chaos, feeling excruciating pain all over her body,
In the midst of the murkiness, her oxygen slowly ran out in her chest, feeling like she was suffocating, then she heard a distant, angry scream of discontent.
“Miley left here half an hour ago driving! We missed her!”
After discovering that Miley was not there, the crowd instantly dispersed like a tide.
Priscilla was left in a mess, feeling completely empty inside.
She struggled to get up, endured the pain to go to the hospital to treat the wound, with only one thought left in her mind.
She wanted to leave this city, completely cut ties with Angelo.
After getting home, Priscilla booked a flight to Radren.
The airline called to confirm, she answered.
“Yes, I bought the ticket to Radren, at 10 o’clock in the morning.”
Before the words had even finished, Angelo walked in, and asked as soon as he heard.
“At 10 o’clock this morning? Where are you going?”
Priscilla’s gaze hardened, she hung up the phone and said casually, “Going to meet some old friends.”
Friend?
Angelo just nodded without much care, and didn’t ask further.
He took off his coat, looked up and saw the wounds on her body, and was stunned.
“Are you hurt? Sorry, I didn’t expect those fans to be so crazy.”
Didn’t expect that?
Whether it was unexpected or just didn’t care.
Priscilla smiled and didn’t say anything.
Seeing her silent, Angelo changed the subject, “Come to think of it, you’ve been home for too long. Next time you have a chance to meet friends, go out more and see the world.”
After saying that, Miley’s message came in just in time, and Angelo went into the study with his phone.
Watching the slowly closing door, Priscilla nodded gently.
After tomorrow,
she did go out to see the world, she won’t confine herself anymore.
The next day, Priscilla got up very early and brought back the divorce certificate with the divorce agreement.
Just got home, she ran into Angelo who was about to leave at the door.
She wanted to be honest with him about the divorce, so she stopped him.
“Do you have a moment? I have something very important to tell you.”
Angelo glanced at his watch and said urgently, “If there’s something, wait for me to come back tonight and we’ll talk then. I have to go out now.”
“Since that’s the case, no need to chat anymore. Here’s what I want to give you, you…”
Priscilla handed over the divorce certificate as she spoke.
Angelo was texting Miley on his phone, then he casually picked up the phone call without even looking at it, and tossed it into the hallway drawer.

He picked up the car keys, turned around and left, leaving only one sentence.
“Got it, you’re going to hang out with friends? Have fun, come back early.”
No, this time, she won’t come back again.
Priscilla watched him leave for the last time, answering him in her heart.
She went back to the bedroom, grabbed her luggage, and walked out of the villa.
The moment the door closed, she took a deep breath.
Three years of shackles finally taken off.
Angelo, goodbye.
The next time they met, she was no longer his wife, but his mortal enemy,
Prissie.
