Chapter 5
The nights in October had already become a bit chilly, with the night sky dotted with stars. A gentle breeze mixed with the fragrance of the green plants and flowers in the courtyard, making it very pleasant.
I opened the courtyard gate.
I saw the man standing under the street lamp at a glance.
Just like the first time we met.
He had a handsome appearance and a clean and fresh temperament,
After seeing me, his eyes seemed to burst with a burst of light.
It was really beautiful.
I sighed in my heart, truly the person I have liked for several years.
“Reina, have you eaten?”
I nodded and said, “Is there something you want when you come over?”
Vincent glanced at my expression.
“Reina, I’m sorry today, I stood you up.”
I said lightly, “It’s okay, I’m used to it.”
After Reina Mears hung up the phone, Vincent started to feel anxious. It had been an entire afternoon, and he couldn’t shake the feeling

Vincent knew that I liked him a lot.
So, the favored ones are confident without fear, but this favoritism, he always spares for me.
Seeing my increasingly cold expression, Vincent thought I was angry and instead breathed a sigh of relief
A hint of delight flashed in his eyes, but he quickly explained in anger, and everything was fine after coaxing
Vincent rubbed my hair and let go of his hand before I dodged away.
“Reina, Yaritza’s ankle was severely injured and she needs treatment from the specialists in Swobia. Moreover, time is running out as the surgery needs to be done within forty–eight hours, otherwise there will be complications. That’s why I need to accompany her
there.”
Sarcasm flashed in my eyes.
“What, is there no one left in this world? Are the assistants and caregivers all dead? Can only you accompany her? You don’t care about
