her a lot of money, but she doesn’t spend any on me!”
“You guys are still the best. When are you bringing your little darling back home?”
Evelyn’s voice was soft, full of grievance, making one feel pity for her.
If I hadn’t sent the Grants photos of dinner, they might have brought Evelyn back overnight.
Earlier, during dinner, I photographed a table full of well–balanced dishes, even including lobster and crab, and sent it, along with Evelyn happily eating, to them.
“Mr. and Mrs. Grant, thank you for the money. This is the first time our family has had such a sumptuous dinner in years. Isabella has never had seafood while with me.”
“Seeing Evelyn enjoy the meal so much, my heart feels sweet. Now both my daughters can have a good life!”
There was a moment of silence on the other end. They couldn’t believe their usually well–behaved daughter would slander her biological mother.
Yet, considering it as a little girl’s tactic to seek favor, they didn’t expose her, merely responding slightly indifferently:
“Stay with your Ms. Saunders for a week and spend more time with her. It’s not easy for a single mother. We will bring you back after a week.”
No matter what Evelyn said, the Grants didn’t agree to take her back right away.

1 Chapter 1:
I returned to my room, feeling smug about my foresight.
At that moment, I received a call from Isabella.
“Mom, the Grant Family is really luxurious and big, and the Grant parents are very nice to me, but I still want to go home.”
“Mom, have you… have you
found a new daughter and don’t want me anymore?”
I sensed the sadness in her words and patiently comforted her, “Isabella, why would you think that? You’ll always be Mommy’s little darling”
“I’m letting you stay with the Grants because I know they have better resources. As the Grant Family’s eldest daughter, your path in the future will be much easier.”
“I want you to have more choices and not live so hard.”
I know too well how exhausting life is without money or connections.
As a single mom with a daughter, I’ve been bullied at work, always given the dirtiest and most tiring tasks, treated like a mule by my boss.
Because they know, I dare not resign; I have my daughter to support.
“Then why are you keeping Evelyn?”
There was a hint of jealousy in Isabella’s tone.
“I’m keeping Evelyn so you can foster a good relationship with the Grant parents.”
“Isabella, this is a major opportunity to change your destiny. You must seize it.”
With that, I compressed and sent her the long–collected “True and False Daughters” document.

Early the next morning, the Grants‘ driver came to take Evelyn to school.
Isabella came along too; the Grants had already transferred her to Evelyn’s school, a well–known
international school.
Evelyn straightened her back, looking like a beautiful white swan, gracefully seating herself in the back of the Rolls–Royce.
Just as the driver was about to close the door, I stopped him and forcefully squeezed in.
Evelyn was taken aback and shouted impatiently, “What are you doing!”
I innocently blinked, “Today’s Isabella’s first day at school. I’m not at ease, so I want to go and
see.”
Evelyn’s face changed, managing to pull out a smile, “Ms. Saunders, don’t worry. I’ll definitely

take good care of sister Isabella, you still have to work, so you should stay behind.”
“No worries, I resigned, and now that I have money, I want to start my own business.”
I sneered inwardly; I won’t give Evelyn a chance to harm Isabella.
In the book, to maintain her status as the only daughter of the wealthiest family, Evelyn spread rumors that Isabella was an illegitimate child.
