As they stepped into the study, Killian was still seething with anger.
He gestured accusingly at Anastacia, his voice filled with rage. “Didn’t I warn you to stay away from my wife? What gives you the right to show up at my house at this time?”
Unfazed by his outburst, Anastacia boldly reached for the sash of Killian’s robe.
“The car’s too cramped at night, and you weren’t satisfied either. Mr. Barnes, someone’s brought you a late–night treat, yet you’re still so grumpy,” she said playfully.
With a mischievous grin, she added suggestively, “You wouldn’t turn down a snack delivered right to you, would you?”
Killian gaped at her in shock and tried to stop her, his voice strained. “Have you lost your mind? This is my house, and my wife is sleeping just across the hallway!”
Anastacia, unintimidated, paused briefly before continuing to remove her coat.
“I’m aware she’s nearby, but she’s fast asleep with the lights out,” she said, her smile growing. “Besides, isn’t it more thrilling to enjoy a snack like this?”
The video feed showed Killian falling silent.
In the next moment, Anastacia shed her coat, revealing a complete bunny girl costume underneath.
Moments later, they were locked in a passionate embrace.
I quickly shut off the screen, feeling nauseous as I rushed to the garbage bin and heaved.
I had to face the truth–my husband was in the room opposite mine, engaging in a reckless affair. And he thought he was keeping it all hidden from me.
I lay back on the mattress, my eyes wide open in the darkness, staring upwards, silently waiting for time to pass.
Two hours later, I heard Anastacia depart, and Killian called for a car to take her home.
When he came back to our bedroom, he showered again, though a faint sweet scent still clung to him.
I feigned waking up as he entered, rolling over and moving away, intentionally creating distance between us.
“You were looking at those papers so late?” I mumbled, my tone aloof.
