Chapter 7
Two weeks later, I watched Alice’s eyes redden as she took my ashes to the beach.
The sea was peaceful today as if it were welcoming me.
She held my urn carefully and slowly scattered my ashes into the sea.
Suddenly, a fancy speedboat appeared nearby. Jaxon and Helen were calmly drinking on it.
Alice’s face darkened with anger and hatred. Without hesitation, she sent him my death certificate.
Jaxon casually opened the message and smiled when he saw my name.
Maybe he thought I had given up.
But when he looked at the attached image, his face went pale. He stared straight at the shore.
Alice held my urn and glared coldly at him and Helen.
“Dock now!” Jaxon’s wine glass slipped and shattered on the floor.
“Jaxon? What’s wrong?” Helen asked in confusion.
But he didn’t answer, his eyes locked on the shore.
He rushed over and grabbed my urn from Alice.
Looking at my photo on it, his eyes slowly turned red, and he stood, frozen.
“This can’t be… You two must be lying to trick me…”

As the last ashes spread into the sea, Jaxon’s veins bulged. He suddenly broke free from the bodyguards, jumped into the water, and grabbed the final handful of ashes.
Smiling, he sank quickly to the bottom.
Helen’s scream echoed loudly across the sky.
