Chapter 12 The Same Wedding Day As Her Ex
The video was taken a few days before Jaslyn’s birthday. Antwan asked Yolanda where the place most suitable for a proposal in Eqifrora was, so Yolanda thought he was gonna ask her to marry him.
Yolanda liked Nebula Hotel’s outdoor coffee house on the rooftop. Many people had thrown parties there.
After work, she went there specially to take a video for Antwan.
Jaslyn happened to be drinking coffee there with a friend, so she was in
the camera.
“I heard you ask the manager if they did proposal parties.
“Antwan is gonna propose to you?
“Don’t you think it’s your wishful thinking?
“Want to bet? It’s gonna be my birthday in a few days. Let’s see if he proposes to you or me.”
Yolanda was amused by Jaslyn’s provocation.
Antwan was Yolanda’s boyfriend. Since he had asked her, why would he propose to someone else? Yolanda didn’t believe he would humiliate her like that.

Yolanda withdrew her phone and looked at Antwan, who was staring at the table as if the video was still playing.

“Posting a photo instead of this video is my being kind to you. Don’t make

Antwan kept the pose for a long time until Kieran tapped him on the shoulder.
“Antwan, clear things up for Yolanda, and this can go away.”
Antwan cast Yolanda an indifferent glance and then leaned back on the sofa. Looking down for a while, he smirked.
“So you thought I was gonna propose to you?”
Looking at Antwan’s derisive face, Yolanda didn’t respond.
“What made you believe that?”
He looked at her again. “I thought you knew your place. Turns out you don’t. You want to marry into my family?

Yolanda shook her head. “I wanted to marry you only because I loved you.”

Antwan took a bottle of liquor, opened it violently, and gulped it. When he turned back to Yolanda, he had an urge to take all his mixed emotions out. But she looked calm, so he could only suppress those emotions.
“Delete the video.”
Yolanda took a deep breath and sat on the sofa. “OK. But first, you have to clear things up for me and promise I won’t be suspended.”
“You won’t be suspended, but I won’t clear things up for
you.”
“Then we don’t have a deal. My account was banned, but I can sign up for another one or use my friend’s account. By the way, I got advice that I could send what I have to the paparazzi.”
Antwan took another gulp of the liquor. “You can tell me your conditions.”
“No need.”
“Don’t you want your parents‘ house?”
Yolanda stiffened.
He had just admitted that he had her parents‘ house.
“You fell out with your family and moved into my place. You said you wanted to start a business to impress your family, so I sold my parents‘ house for 150,000 dollars and gave it to you.”
Antwan nodded. “So I bought the house long ago. I was gonna give it back to you.”
“Then why have you been hiding it from me?”

Yolanda picked up a bottle of liquor, opened it, and hit it against the bottle in Antwan’s hand. “Congratulations.”
Then, she guzzled it and walked out with the bottle.
Kieran was worried, so he ran after Yolanda. Instead of getting out of the pub, she sat down at the bar.
“Elvis, you keep an eye on Antwan. I’ll keep Yolanda company,” Kieran said to Elvis.
Elvis was busy with something, but he still went to Antwan’s room.
Kieran sat beside Yolanda and asked the bartender for a glass.
“Yolanda, would you like to share?” Kieran pushed his glass to Yolanda.
She looked at him with a smile. “I want to get drunk tonight.”

“My heart is still in pain, a lot of pain…”
She was deeply hurt, regretting being so devoted to Antwan.
Kieran pressed his lips together, took his glass back, and asked for a bottle of liquor from the bartender.
“I’ll drink with you.” He hit his bottle against Yolanda’s. “Happy breakup.”
“Thanks. I want to be happy.”
When Elvis took Antwan, who was loaded, out of the room, Yolanda was staggering out.

Elvis could only send the three of them home separately.
“Yolanda, where do you live now?”

“What? You are still living with Antwan?”
Yolanda shook her head, pushed Elvis away, and walked out alone.
“You are drunk. I’ll take you home.” Elvis ran after her right away.
“It’s OK. Someone will come and pick me up.”
Yolanda sobered up a little in the cold wind. Caiden had gotten out of the car and opened the door for her.
She was about to get in when Elvis grabbed her.
“Are you gonna get in a stranger’s car?”
