I took Ch 12

I took Ch 12

He would know.

I didn’t want him anymore.

And I didn’t want those two cubs who treated me like a stranger, either.

“Old… Kain,” I pressed the call bell for the healer by my bed. “Could you please help me pack my things and send them to… the airport outside the territory.”

An hour later, I had completely blocked all wolf scent markers that Ethan could possibly track.

I left the black card in the drawer of the treatment room.

As the plane took off, the mountains and manor outside the window were painted a brilliant golden–red by the setting sun.

That was Ethan’s pack territory.

I smiled and closed my eyes.

This time, I, Aria, would never again compromise for any wolf.

Those days of being pathetic for love, struggling with the bond… let them disappear forever with this plane.

Waiting for me ahead was a brand new future, one that belonged only to me.

There would be no Alpha’s oppression, no harm from cubs, only freedom and a new life.
