Seeing Matthew in the police station, Whitney seemed to know something too and couldn’t wait to reveal her own cards.
She seemed crazy, but her mind was still intact. She also knew that Carl was the only man in the Sinclair family. If she hurt him, Matthew’s wrist and strength would definitely make her suffer. But now that she was carrying the only heir of the Sinclair family in her belly, things had changed.
Matthew froze, his sharp eyes scanning Whitney. “Are you sure you’re Carl’s child? If I find out you dare to deceive me, I’ll skin you alive.”
Whitney shrank her neck in fear and said, “I dare not deceive you, it was Carl who got drunk earlier, and we had a relationship.”
Even if Matthew didn’t like Whitney anymore, at the moment he was still helpless against her.

Carl woke up only that night, and Matthew informed him of the news.
After returning to the country, you got married to Whitney.
He was not allowed to question even a bit with a strong tone.
Carl stared blankly, and for a moment he doubted if there was something wrong with his ears. Wide–eyed, he exclaimed, “Grandfather, you want me to marry Whitney? With her current appearance, neither human nor ghost–like, wouldn’t it be embarrassing for me to marry her? I cannot marry her.”
Matthew glared at Carl and said, “Did you think I wanted such an unsuitable daughter–in–law? If you had treated Jasmine a little better in the past, we wouldn’t be in this situation now. Let me tell you, Whitney is already pregnant with your child, and no matter what, I will ensure that Whitney safely gives birth to this child.”
“How could she possibly be pregnant, it’s just… “Carl’s eyes were filled with shock, his voice getting quieter, but his rationality over marrying Whitney took over, and he said sternly, “Even if she’s carrying my child, I won’t marry her. Who says I have to marry the one who gives birth?”
