Chapter 24
Except for Grace, everyone had a few drinks, their faces slightly flushed, clearly a bit drunk.
It is not known who started it, but suddenly they began to criticize their ex–boyfriend.
Some people were laughing heartily, while others had tears in their eyes.
Some things were too bizarre, Cassie couldn’t stop laughing, and she casually poked the only person next to her who was still sober. Grace.
“Grace, what about you?”
Grace looked bewildered for a moment, and memories of the past flooded her mind.
Mysteriously, she felt it was difficult to speak out.
After all these days, in fact, when it came to Antonio, she didn’t have any sad emotions. She just looked at these young girls in front of her, who were a few years younger than her and still students. She really didn’t know how to speak up.
The atmosphere fell into silence for a moment.
Cassie realized something and quickly changed the subject, not wanting to put Grace in a difficult situation.
Once everyone had left, Cassie’s mind cleared up a bit, and she cautiously approached to apologize.
“Sorry Grace. I drank too much and I spoke without thinking just now.”
Grace naturally wouldn’t blame her, she smiled and gently rubbed the head of the pitiful girl in front of her, urging her to go back and rest.
After tidying up the room, she finished washing up and lay down on the bed, opening the newly registered WhatsApp from Australia.
She only told her one and only good friend about this on WhatsApp, and no one else knew where she went or what her current contact information

Looking at the dozens of messages on her phone, as well as the continuously increasing red notification dots, Grace widened her eyes in surprise.
I opened it and took a quick look, and I found that almost everything was related to Antonio.
“Antonio was sick, right? Wasn’t he with Sofia before? After you left, it was like a sudden realization of your importance, as if his consciousness was suddenly awakened. It’s so funny, he really thought he was the main character in a drama about chasing after his wife at a crematorium. Does he think he can just regret a few times and win back his loved one?”
“He used to come to me every now and then, asking me where you had gone. But don’t worry, sister, I would never tell him your whereabouts.”
“Oh, right. Antonio had a big argument with his mother at his house dinner a month ago. I overheard some of it, and it seemed like he was blaming his mother for driving you away.”
“This guy is really sick. What does it have to do with his mother? The most important thing is that he was indecisive and tried to deceive you right?”
“Recently, he was drinking heavily every day, and it seems that a few days ago he even drank to the point of almost perforating his stomach. He ended up in the ICU, and the doctors there repeatedly warned and advised him not to drink like that anymore. I have to say, he’s really lucky. How did he not drink himself to death?”
There were many, many more words of criticism towards Antonio.
Receiving so much news about Antonio again, Grace felt no more fluctuations in her heart, and even felt as if those things had happened in a previous life.
She pulled back the curtains and outside was a clear sky, with a deep blue color that shone like a polished and exceptionally smooth sapphire.
The warm sunshine, shining brightly, dispelled the chill from her body.
“Grace, I went to class!”
Outside, there came the lively shouts of a little girl.
She smiled and said to the person outside the door, “Take your time on the way.” She opened her phone, her voice filled with relief and joy,
“You don’t need to tell me any more news related to Antonio in the future.”
The lingering sense of unreality that had always haunted her completely dissipated.
