Chapter 26 Deeply Attracted by You
Graciela was rushed to the hospital.
Willa dropped everything and rushed over as soon as she heard the news.
Something big happened, she didn’t dare to hide it from Emery, so she told Emery everything.
“The doctor said Grace fainted because her emotions were too intense after being stimulated. But the doctor also said Grace’s body was fine, just needed a good sleep.”
Emery was out of town on a business trip at the time and couldn’t make it over to see his sister in person. He was feeling really down and even his voice sounded a bit more subdued than usual as he asked, “Who upset her?”
“At the celebration dinner today, Lamar and Leanna showed their affection in public by holding hands,” Willa cautiously
spoke.
There was a sound of something hard falling on the phone,
Emery was furious: “This jerk! One day I’ll definitely give him a
taste of his own medicine!”
“The doctor said, Grace’s reaction was so strong, she must have remembered something.” Willa furrowed her eyebrows and
asked, “Emery, if Grace really remembered something, what should we do?”
“No matter what, stop her! We can’t let her get back together with that jerk Lamar” Emery was very firm: “Willa, I’m counting on you for this, I’ll be back as soon as possible.”
“Don’t worry, Emery! Our attitude is the same.””
Hung up the phone, Willa composed herself and walked into Graciela’s hospital room.
Three people in the room looked at her.
She calmly instructed, “Helena, you have something to do tomorrow, so go back first! Nora, please take care of Grace
tonight.”
The boss spoke, and Helena and Nora naturally had no objections.
“As for you, Mr. Morrison,” Willa said coldly, with a strange
emotion, “please step aside, let’s talk.”
“Let’s go!” Ambrose shrugged nonchalantly, his charming eyes showing a hint of curiosity, following Willa out of the ward.
After the two of them left, Nora sidled up to Helena and said,
“Helena, did you feel like there was something weird going on between the boss and Mr. Morrison?”
Helena has been in the entertainment industry for so many
years, how could she not see it, she warned Nora, “Be careful what you say!”
Nora stuck out her tongue apologetically.
In the hospital corridor.
Willa stood facing Ambrose.
Ambrose carefully looked at Willa and concluded, “You look a lot more mature.”
Willa snorted and mocked, “You’re still the same playboy, flirting around everywhere, nothing has changed! No, you’ve become even more disgusting.”
“How come?” Ambrose didn’t seem to mind at all, with a smirk
on his face, “I clearly found true love and I’m ready to settle
down!”
“I’m warning you!” Willa glared, “Don’t even think about Grace!
Or else, don’t blame me for being rude.”
“Oh!” Ambrose teased her on purpose, “How are you going to be rude this time? Are you going to bite me like a little wolf cub when we meet like before? Or are you going to use your pitiful little wealth to deal with me?”
“Huh!” Willa sneered, “Don’t you like Grace? Let me tell you,
Grace won’t be interested in you. Even if she is, do you think she would choose between you and me?”
Ambrose put away his smirk and looked at her with a hint of seriousness in his eyes, “I can’t believe it, you’ve really grown a
lot!”
“Huh!” Willa responded with a cold shoulder, “Go back! We don’t
need you here.”
“How can that work?” Ambrose strolled casually behind, saying,
“I still need to make my presence known in front of Grace,
right?”
With a loud “bang,” the door slammed shut in Ambrose’s face,
almost hitting his nose.
He was still a little scared, so he paused for a moment before
pushing the door open.
When Willa wasn’t around, Nora would only dare to sneak a
peek at him.
At one point, the ward was quiet, you could hear a pin drop.
Ambrose had a thick skin, didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, with one hand in his pocket, tall and elegant, leisurely looking at the city lights outside the window.
Three people maintained such a weird atmosphere.
Suddenly, the person in bed groaned and slowly woke up.
Willa and Nora hurried to the bedside.
“Grace, are you awake?” Willa breathed a sigh of relief. “How do
you feel? Any discomfort anywhere?”
Graciela raised her hand to her temple, furrowing her brow: “What’s wrong with me?”
“You passed out at the celebration party,” Nora raised her hospital bed.
Willa asked, “Grace, do you remember something?”
“I saw a woman who looked exactly like me, but had a
completely different personality. She was with a man and
seemed very submissive.”
“Who is that man?” Willa was on edge.
Graciela shook her head, “I don’t know, it’s all blurry, can’t see the face clearly. I can’t think deeply, just gives me a headache!”
Willa breathed a sigh of relief and comforted her, “It’s okay if you can’t remember. Don’t force yourself”
It’s best to never ever think about it!
“The most important thing now is not whether I can remember,” Graciela suddenly said seriously, “the most important thing is…”
