“Huh, Stephanie was really foolish, to not want such a good marriage and to actively seek divorce and leave. At least she had some sense!”
Amelia learned the gestures of the upper class, swirling her glass of red wine and giving a disdainful laugh.
“Stephanie, don’t worry. After your divorce, even if you regret it, it doesn’t matter. Whether it’s Edgar or anything related to Edgar, in the future, it will only be mine!”

Edgar sped through the streets, running countless red lights, before finally arriving back home.
Sherlyn carefully handed the divorce certificate to him, not daring to say another word.
The solo photo on the dark red notebook was mocking him pitifully.
Calculating the date, Stephanie should have deliberately made him sign the divorce agreement a month ago under the guise of a ten–year
agreement.
Edgar tightly gripped the divorce certificate, sarcastically tugging at his lips, feeling waves of pain stabbing at his heart.
“Stephanie, people in high society play around a lot. I have only been with you for so many years. Now I have met someone else who I am a little attracted to. I just want to be with her for ten years. Why can’t you just bear with it?”
He was very puzzled, and didn’t even think that he had any problems.

Edgar was full of confusion.
All his contact information had been blocked and deleted, so he had to borrow Sherlyn’s phone.
After hanging up the phone with Stephanie, there were several beeps before the only response came from a robotic female voice.
“Sorry, the number you have dialed is currently switched off. Please try again later…”
No matter how many numbers were changed, the result was always the
same.
With a thud, Edgar was filled with a chill, and he threw the phone in his
hand out with a stern face.
The bone smashed heavily against the wall, instantly blacking out the SCI and shattering completely.
Edgar coldly said, “Find an assistant to handle the reimbursement!”
As soon as the words fell, he returned to the bedroom.
Looking at the empty bedroom, his brow furrowed even tighter.
In the spacious suite, all of Stephanie’s belongings had disappeared, not a single item was left behind.
The entire bedroom looked as if Stephanie had never been there.

Edgar leaned against the wall, closed his eyes wearily, pinched his brow, feeling extremely frustrated.
It wasn’t until now that he realized, in hindsight, that over these days, the house had gradually become less filled with Stephanie’s things.
Not only that, many of their shared memories from the past have also disappeared.
From the time of confession to marriage, the hundreds of love letters he gave her, the ceramic dolls they made together during their courtship, the various sweet photos they took together on every holiday each year, and even their wedding photos, all of these are gone.
Stephanie dealt with it thoroughly, almost wanting to erase their past memories, as if making room for Amelia.
She didn’t love him anymore, she had completely given up on him.
When this thought crossed Edgar’s mind, he suddenly realized that he couldn’t accept it at all!
From their college days, when he first saw her, he knew she was the one who would accompany him for the rest of his life.
How could she leave now, how could she stop loving him?
Edgar’s dark eyes darkened inch by inch, emitting a chilling coldness throughout his body, as he struggled to pull his lips.
“Stephanie, I never said I agreed to let you go, why do you think you can just leave me so easily? Dream on!”
