Chapter 11
“This ends here. I’ve got nothing left to say to any of you. I’ll let you go. But don’t think for a second you won’t pay for what you’ve done.”
Then I turned to Mike. “Mike, send them back to the werewolf realm… but don’t let them off easy.”
Mike gave me a lazy smile and nodded. “Of course, my little princess. I’ll make sure they pay every last bit of what they owe.”
And he didn’t disappoint me.
The moment Harvey and Liam returned to the werewolf realm, they were arrested and officially investigated.
Harvey, both an Alpha and a werewolf attorney, had repeatedly broken the law–bribing judges, manipulating trials, getting suspects acquitted through backdoor deals.
Liam, as a chief inspector, had done the same–abusing his authority to assist Harvey, covering up evidence, replacing files, and obstructing justice.
The Alpha King personally intervened and ordered both men to stand trial at the realm’s highest court.
It didn’t take long for the verdict to come.
Harvey, convicted on multiple charges, was sentenced to fifteen years in prison.
Liam received thirteen.
Two once–shining stars of the werewolf legal world—now completely disgraced.
The rest of their lives would be spent locked up in the same prison…. with the very criminals they once threw behind bars.
For men like them, that was the cruelest punishment of all.
With Harvey and Liam imprisoned, Walter’s case was re–examined.
Emily’s brother was found guilty of rape and murder and sentenced to death.
Emily herself was convicted on multiple charges, including fabricating evidence and harboring a fugitive. She was sentenced to three
years.
Once the truth came out, the victim’s family showed up at my doorstep with flowers, apologizing profusely.
I accepted the flowers. But I couldn’t bring myself to say I forgave them.
The hurt ran too deep. All I wanted… was for our paths to never cross again.
With the truth out, the Bloodmoon Pack’s reputation was instantly restored.
The curses, the slander, the accusations once thrown at my family–all turned into sympathy and praise overnight.
Later, I gave Walter the funeral he deserved. A grand farewell.
He was buried beside our parents and grandfather; an Alpha laid to rest as a hero.
After the funeral, Mike asked me, “My little princess… what do you want to do next?”
I looked into his eyes and answered without hesitation. “I don’t want to be a ‘princess‘ anymore.”
“My mom, my dad, my brother, and Grandpa… they’re all gone. I’m the only one left in the Bloodmoon Pack.”
“I don’t care what it takes. I’ll carry it forward.”
Mike reached out and gently patted my head, his smile warm and proud.
“Looks like your grandfather raised himself one hell of a granddaughter.”

“You’re not just a Luna, you know. You’re an Alpha She–through and through.”
“No worries. Just remember this, no matter what you choose–princess or warrior–You’ll never be alone.”
“I’ll always have your back.”
My eyes stung before I even realized it. I blinked the tears away and gave him a firm, solemn nod.
“Thank you, Uncle Mike. I promise… I won’t let you down.”
