Chapter 6
After thinking for a while, Zachary went straight to a local tattoo shop once he landed.
He pulled out a design I had sent him five years ago and told the tattoo. artist, “I’m in a rush. I don’t need any anesthesia.”
Seven hours later, Zachary rushed out of the shop, his white shirt stained with blood. He then bought millions worth of gifts and 999 pure white
TOSCS.
Having gone almost 48 hours without sleep, Zachary drove nonstop to a vineyard on the outskirts of London.
On the way, he nervously rehearsed the perfect apology over and over in his mind. No matter how he tried to plan, the first words he wanted to say to me were always the ones that came straight from his heart.
“Queenie, I miss you so much.”
At last, Zachary found me in a foreign country, but when he saw me, the flowers he was holding dropped.
As the sun set, I was in the arms of a tall, handsome man.
With a smile he’d never seen before, I flirted with that man as we fed each other sweet and sour fresh grapes.
Zachary couldn’t say what he’d planned. All he could ask, blankly, was, “Who is he?”
Sensing that I was tense, Calvin Wilkerson tightened his grip around me.

“You must be Zachary, right? I saw your wedding photo with Queenie. Tsk, I didn’t expect you to look worse in person than in the photo.”
Calvin’s words made me laugh. I was no longer nervous and chuckled. covering my mouth.
Zachary’s chest seemed to tighten, and he clenched his fists so hard his. nails dug into his palms.
“Since you’ve come such a long way, I should introduce myself. I’m Calvin Wilkerson, Queenie’s-”
“Calvin? I remember you. You’re the son of a driver adopted by the Snowden family. You were kicked out by Queenie’s grandma for stealing.”
Calvin raised an eyebrow, saying nothing. He wasn’t easily offended. But I frowned, defending him.
“Zachary, Calvin isn’t like that. By the way, why are you here? You’ve trespassed on private property without permission.”
When Zachary heard that I was asking him to leave, his mood darkened. For a moment, he seemed to forget that he had come to try to convince me to return home, not to argue with me.
“Queenie, I came to see you. Stop acting like a child and come home with
me.”
“Go home?” I looked at him as if he were crazy.
“Did you crash your car and knock your brain loose? We’re divorced now! Didn’t you see the divorce papers with my signature?”
The chances of a package being lost were low but still possible.

Just as I considered reprinting the divorce agreement for him to take, I heard him say shamelessly, “I already tore up that useless divorce agreement!
“Queenie, I understand why you’re upset. I’ve taken care of things with Ruby. I promise she won’t show up to cause you trouble anymore.”
Zachary moved closer, eager to touch my face, which he had thought about constantly. But before his hand could reach me, I shoved him away.
I spoke calmly. “Mr. Conrad, when my family was in need, only the Conrad family helped us.
“During our nine years of marriage, I did everything I could to repay your kindness. Now that Ruby is carrying your child, you finally have an heir.
“I truly wish you, Ruby, and your child all the happiness and peace in the world.”
When Zachary heard that, he realized I was set on leaving him.
He immediately panicked.
