He stared at me, shocked.

I stared at his shameless, greedy face, horrified at how far he had fallen.
“Henry, we’re finished. Some things, once lost, are gone forever.
“You will pay for everything you did.
“I’ll keep you on the industry’s blacklist until the day you die.
“You chose Yvonne, so make sure you grow old with her. I wish you both well.”
One year later, Charlie and I had a beautiful child.
Henry, meanwhile, attempted to exploit his position as acting general manager of Figmi Group to defraud investors into funding a shell company he and Yvonne had established.
However, industry peers quickly exposed him, making him in significant penalties.
The two of them fell to ruin, forced to beg others for help. However, no one volunteered to help.
