Chapter 4
The loud crash silenced the entire hall.
Henry was the first to react, rushing up to the head of the security team.
“Who are you people? What gives you the right to crash my wedding?”
The security team ignored his shouting, which only further inflamed Henry’s anger. “Do you know who I am? I’m Henry Gordon!”
Yvonne, clutching her expensive wedding dress, arrogantly looped her arm through Henry’s.
“My husband is talking to you! Are you deaf? Don’t you know what happens to people who offend my husband?”
The crowd quickly came to their senses and surrounded the incoming security team.
“You have no idea who you’re messing with!”
“How dare you ruin Henry’s wedding!”
I quietly stepped out of the crowd and walked toward the security team.
The team leader immediately draped a coat over me and respectfully waited for my orders.
“Don’t just stand there. These people broke my bracelet,” I said, pointing at the fragments.
The leader, Ben Walker, who was a trusted aide of mine and a former special for others to keep the guests under control.
